I've been thinking about ordering gloves to go with my Victorian theme, but realize that it will complicate the ring exchange. Which glove option you you choose?

    I love the look of gloves, but it just seems really complicated.. would you put the glove back on after the ring exchange or take both off?  I voted too much trouble, but if decide to go with them, I would maybe try to cut the hole and slip your ring finger out.  But.. honestly, I think that looks a little weird too.

    Finished BC and not preventing since June 2010.

    11/12: Dx: Congenital Bilateral Absense of the Vas Deferens.
    Genetic Testing needed as this is a mutation of Cystic Fibrosis.
    IVF #1 with ICSI planned for 2013.

    I think I saw a set of gloves once that had the ring finger missing so you could put your rings on during the ceremony without removing them.  Personally, I would skip it but I'm not into gloves at all so take it for what its worth!  :)

    I also voted "too much trouble."  Gloves are cool and all, especially with this theme, but it'll complicate the most important part of the ceremony.  I can't think of a graceful way to do this.

    I think the look of gloves is very pretty, and if you feel it will be what compliments your theme then I say go for it! It may make it a little tricky to exchange rings, but if you do what you can ahead of time to make it easier, and things still get tricky then you just walk away with a good story. It's all about making the most of what you really want.

    I voted "too much trouble" but maybe you could find pretty fingerless gloves?
