My husband and I got married on April 2, and I'm just finally getting a chance to write these reviews (better late than never though right?)
Ceremony-
St Joseph's Church (on Tulane Ave in New Orleans)
This church is gorgeous and I'm really glad we chose it. The only complaint I have is that the lady who was in charge of our wedding rehearsal did not do a good job. She didn't tell us anything we were supposed to do or lead us in anyway...she just turned the rehearsal over to us and we had no clue what to do.
Reception-
Southern Oaks Plantation
Southern Oaks Plantation is beautiful, and the service and food are great. My husband and I each had someone in charge of us, and our parents did too. They gave us new drinks anytime our glasses were less than half full, and they brought us out any food we asked for. All our guests rave over how delicious and plentiful the food was at the reception. We did the horse and carriage, and we got the jazz band. The were great too! Overall, Southern Oaks was great, but I am upset about their reaction to us being late. When we left the church, one of the limo drivers went the wrong way and we ended up having to wait on the other limo for forever and we got to Southern Oaks late. Well I guess they thought we were late becuase we took all kinds of pictures at the church (which we didnt) and the owner of Southern Oaks was yelling and cursing out the photographer in front of our guests while they were waiting for us to come on the horse and carriage. I think that is very unprofessional, and I was really disappointed when my guests started telling me they saw this.
Photographer- Collin Richie
Collin was great. He is a nice guy who makes you feel comfortable while you are taking photos (and this shows through his pictures). He has a creative photo style. I was happy with our engagements, bridals, and the wedding photos. I do feel like some of the wedding photos were missed though. We have none of our exit and some photos from our reception were missing. Overall though I liked Collin. Here is the link to the pictures:

The videographer was AMAZING. I absolutely love our video, and I could not be happier with choosing them!! They get everything on video, and they do not get in the way while shooting it all. They were great! I can't say enough good things about them! Our video is on the website:

Trish owns Style 2 Salon and Boutique, and she did all of the bridemaids' hair as well as my mother in laws' hair. She did a great job!! The bridemaids got side curly buns, and they all looked fabulous!! I definitely recommend Trish. Aimee did my hair and my mother's hair. She did a wonderful job too!! I loved the way my hair came out, and i was very satisfied with everyone's hair!!

The bouquets and boutineres were done by Christina O'Malley. They were so budget friendly and I loved them!! The large arrangements, pew arrangements, and all other flowers were done by Janet DeMarcay. I can't say enough good things about Janet. First, her flower arrangements are beautiful and extremely budget friendly. They were 1/3 of the price from florists. The arrangements had hanging crystals and were on columns. They were really beautiful. She uses artifical flowers, but the "real touch" flowers that look and feel real. She makes the arrangements in the colors and types of flowers you want, and she drops the arrangements off and picks them up. She came to our Church rehearsal so she could plan where she would put the arrangements, and she was so helpful there. The lady from the Church who was supposed to be in charge did not do anything, so Janet took charge of the rehearsal and told everyone exactly what to do. She is amazing! She is also a wedding coordinator, and after her helping so much at the rehearsal I was wishing I had hired her as my wedding coordinator as well!

Our cake was awesome. It was exactly like the picture I showed of what I wanted, it tasted delicious, and it was affordable. It was actually the cheapest pricing I could find, and it was great!
Limos- A Regal
This limo company was aweful! They were late picking us up, they were late picking up the mothers to bring them to the church (didnt pick them up from the hotel until 5 minutes before the wedding started). They went the wrong way when leaving the church, and we had to wait forever trying to get both limos together (even though we had police escorts so I really dont know what the deal was). Then at Southern Oaks they blocked the driveway so the carriage could not pull up so we had to wait forever on that. I do not recommend them.
