I fly out Saturday for a week long work thing (ugh). Poor DH gets to carry the flag on the darn AHR while I'm gone.

We're working tomorrow, but afterwards we're going out for a friend's birthday. He's having two birthday bashes-- one for the "singles" and one for the "marrieds." We're the only couple invited to both. Gotta love the in-between stage

Tomorrow night's party is dinner and then going to Dave & Busters. The other one he's having is just a dinner at PF Changs.

Yes...thank god! Happy Friday everyone!!! What a week it has been...busy busy busy with wedding planning stuff...its exhausting! Once i read and respond to some posts i will then write a few of my own thanking you guys...specifically Kimmy, Sarah and Brea! Thx. J. :-)

Happy Friday, *achoo* my allergies are raging now. But the weekend is pretty mellow, its my mom's birthday tomorrow and then on Sunday we're going to a Stand Up Paddle Boarding event to raise money for a no kill animal shelter before heading to FI's parents house for his younger siblings birthday. Back to back birthdays!

Yay friday!!!! I just need some sleep finally! Gosh, I've been running around and have barely any time to breathe! We have a wedding reception this weekend....should be interesting considering it's supposed to rain and it's outside. I need to get my butt in gear and get some checks done! I'm running out of time to keep putting things off!

I am so glad it's Friday! It could not come early enough this week! AND it's sunny!

Just plan on hitting the gym tonight and cleaning up the house. Tomorrow my best friend comes over and we are spending the whole day dress shopping. Will get more done on the house on Sunday. Not sure what the plan is for that, yet.

There's so much going on! I hope it warms up a bit around here. 45 degrees is pretty darn cold for April in California. I'm very much looking forward to a mani/pedi tonight before my work trip.

YAY..... this week went by quick!! I'm comitting to sitting in one night this weekend and sorting through all of our wedding stuff and start getting it ready for set up AND building all 120 little favour boxes (and lids) if it kills me. I have been putting these little boxes off for about 2 months now and there's just no escaping them anymore. While I'm doing that FI will be attending his stag!!

Oooh and I almost forgot - I have my apt to see how my alterations turned out tomorrow and my niece is taking the course to become a hair dresser (conveniently : )) so she is gonig to do my hair for the AHR. She's coming over tonight to play around and figure out what were gonna do. Hopefully I'll have lots of pics to post after this weekend!!

Im so glad the weekend is here, there is seriously not enough time in the day. I have a butt load of homework due sunday and monday and have to get crackin on it. Tonight i'm having like 14 family members over for dinner (thankfully im not cooking). I have to rush home, workout and clean before they all arrive. Argh. I wish I could work part time so I could keep the house spotless, have time to meal plan/cook and do like 2 hour workouts every day. I did an hour and half last night and it was so nice! Doesn't hurt that our weather is finally getting sunny and I can run outside! (still cold though).

This week was pretty rough, so I am super happy it's almost done!! My FI and I are meeting this afternoon at the mall to look for ties and to pick up our groomsmen gifts. Hopefully I can get him in somewhere to get him measured up for his suit too and have all the little loose ends tied up!

I'm always up for new people to join me in SUP, surfing and outrigger canoe, so if you already are in any of those sports or want to try, you can be daring and meet me IRL. I promise I am a goofy but normal person. FI taught me how to surf last year, I kind of know how to SUP in calmer waters but I have to rent the board and paddle (hopingto get my own after the wedding). There's an all womens out rigger canoe team that I like to try out and maybe join that's in Newport.

I don't mind sharing this I live in Huntington Beach.

It's been the worst week = Funeral for grandpa, & bridesmaid had to with draw

So it's been sleepless & hectic. TGIF girls! Love this board, btw!

SO HAPPY to have the weekend here...even though I have to work tomorrow.

Ran out at lunch to buy the last pair of shoes Payless had in a size 10 in the state (i swear! I called every where!), for my new bridesmaid after a good GF from high school had to bow out. Life happens, I get it. It was just a panic b/c the shoes I choose were discontinued on Payless :P

Looking forward to some wine tonight & tryign on my dress w/ the shoes I bought...should see if it looks ok & make some decisions from there.

I've only tried SUP once in Long Beach (so calmer waters) and it was so much fun. I've never surfed but I have done outrigger in Hawaii while on vacation. I also am part of a Dragon Boat Paddle team (in Long Beach) and so the same offer applies...if you ever want to try it out, come out to Mother's Beach in LB! I use to live in Long Beach but a 1 1/2 yrs. ago, me and FI bought a house in Fontucky. We take any opportunity to go to the beach though.

Don't know if I'll make it to the SUP event but let's keep in contact!
