BM jewelry suggestions please!

Here is my BM dress...  in the color shamrock
http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/6511/

What jewelry should I have the girls wear?  I was initially thinking of getting a round rhinestone necklace to basically match the brooch....but wonder if it's too 'matchy?'   The other problem is that it's kind of low cut....so I'm thinking I might have to go more of the fashion jewelry route that would hang lower.  It seems that most of the more formal jewelry only comes on 18" chains and that doesn't seem long enough - too snug to the neckline.   I've looked all over.... Macys, JCP, Herbergers, Kohls, Limited, Express, NY&Co.  Looking to spend around $30. Any ideas, suggestions, or links are appreciated!

Very pretty!  I'm not sure if this they would be big enough for what you want, but have you looked at http://www.silverjewelryclub.com/ ? They sell jewelry for free (with hiked up S&H costs like vistaprint).  The trick is that they only have 4 items up for sale at any one time (you can order multiple items at once I think).  Each item is also only up for sale for about 20 minutes, so you have to keep checking back to the site to see if there's something there that you like. A gf of mine gets necklaces and rings off there all the time and loves them.  A pendant will run you about $7 with shipping.

There's a green necklace coming up with a green aventurine bead and heart shaped setting coming up soon (look at the "coming up next link).

My BM dresses were pretty low cut as well and I figured I'd have a hard time with necklaces.  I went out and got bracelets and earrings instead!

I actually think lower-cut necklines look better with short necklaces. If it were me, I'd go with a multi-strand pearl necklace.

Hkielsing- I love that jewlery site! Although I have 4 BMs and 2 Jr BMs and while I was ordering the last pendant it closed! rats! haha oh well I'll just have to get 2 that match for the younger girls and have an extra one.
I can see this being addicting though!

I'd suggest a necklace made with chain so the drop would mimic the v neckline, but nothing too long, maybe 22" or so.  If you've found something you like that isn't long enough, it's really easy to lengthen necklaces, depending on if it's completely beaded or made with chain.  That's what I'd do if I were planning to buy, but I'm making all the jewelry for the BMs and myself.

BTW, excellent dress choice!  I'm looking for something similar, either tea length or knee length, that's simple and may possibly be worn again.  Right now, I'm leaning toward deep plum for the BMs and light blue for the JBM.

nice dress!  it totally looks "wear again," yet is nice enough for a wedding. i should suggest this to my BMs... they can pick their own dresses & are seriously dragging their heels!

I think that dangly shiny earrings & a bracelet might be quite nice with this style.  A long necklace would just "compete" with the nice v-shape & the shiny brooch, making the look a little more casual (but a good idea for the BMs when wearing it again!).
