Seasons Catering Photos--Newbie intro

Hey hey jersey board, here's my newbie intro...I'm a northern jersey bride to be, getting married on October 16 2010 at Season's Catering in Washington Township. After a year and a half of lurking around on the knot I finally decided to post, because Google failed me and I didn't know where else to turn.

As the rest of you Seasons Brides might know, their website is somewhat craptacular. Our ceremony and reception are taking place on the first floor and I'm just trying to find some decent pictures of the room so I can start making some decor choices. I'd like to see some pictures of a ceremony at Seasons if anybody has them, so I can get an idea of how the room is set up. We booked Seasons back in December of 2008 so all I have to go on are my foggy memory, the few pictures of the room on the website, the one i could find on google that was not a painting of the room (wtf? nice i guess but no help at all) and the pictures that are in the booklet they give you.

Also, any pictures of the bridal suite would be awesome too since we couldn't see it while we were there.

Thanks in advance... the "real weddings" pics are always the most helpful :)

Hi and welcome to the board!  Seasons gets rave reviews on here, so I wouldn't worry about a thing.  I was married in the downstairs room in August (but had my ceremony at my church.)  Here is a link to a clip of my wedding video.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwe-veqfzc0
The part where my husband and I are clinking glasses and where he is whispering in my ear took place in the bridal suite you were asking about.

Here is a link to my photographer's pictures http://johngallino.smugmug.com/Weddings.  Click on Jen and Shawn and then password is murphy.  If you have any questions, feel free to page me!  Good luck and congratulations!

GORGEOUS pictures, thanks so much for sharing those. I'm glad to hear that Seasons has a good rep, it's almost impossible to find a bad review about them online. Originally I had my heart set on finding a venue where I could have the ceremony outside, but they cut me such an amazing deal I couldn't turn it down.

Thanks again, your reception looked like it was a blast!

We are just starting to make a list of caterer's to visit.  Seasons looks wonderful and I'm hoping it is not rude to ask where their prices run?

Just a ballpark figure - and a minimum guest count?  Any info would be much appreciated.

We're just getting started and it all feels so overwhelming right now.

    Thanks,
    Laurie

I'm having a Saturday afternoon wedding and gave them a minimum of 125 guests. At first they showed me the room upstairs, which was pretty but compared to some of the other venues i looked at, didn't really blow me away. when i mentioned we were interested in having the ceremony there too, they showed me the downstairs room and i fell in love. NO carpet! I hate those tacky carpets that look like a bag of rainbow bugles exploded all over the floor.

i was quoted at 110 dollars a head and the ceremony is free. he (can't remember the guy's name...started with an R?) threw in some other extras but we booked it so long ago i have to check my contract to see exactly what we got. I'll check it when i get home and list the details here.

from what i hear the cocktail hour is ridiculous, and the only bad review i could find was some of the employees act like secret service when they are trying to keep 2 different wedding parties away from each other. The vendors i chose love working with them too so i feel like we made the right choice.

aaaaand i'm done writing my novel. hope you found some useful information in there!

We are having our reception there in September 2011 at night on a holiday weekend.  We are paying $118 a head with a full Viennese (before tax and tip--after that it comes to an even $150). Min 125 ppl.  What they offer food wise for the money is amazing.  The food makes up for the lack of outdoor space at the venue.  If you have people who like to eat, like a big Italian family, this is a wedding venue for you.
