Hey Knotties! So I wanted to share my recent visits to a few venues here in the DFW area. First we went to Glamour Hall in Addison, Dolores the owner was extremely nice and helpful. I was little discouraged about how highly she was talking about her services due to the venue we wanted was still being renovated and may not be ready until another 45 days. Although she had a smaller venue to look at which was nice but way too small for our wessing. Seriously It was hard for me to picture anything AND...they would have to convert the ceremony into our reception! It may not sounds too bad, but when my guest has no where to go for cocktail hour but oitside! It was a little mere wrecking So...lastly I will say it wasn't the best venue but it absolutely isn't the worst on my list. Next up is Bella at II Creeks in Richardson btw who's changing there name to Slate??!! anyway...OMG..as soon as my FI and I walked in, first thing we noticed was all of the demolishing and construction that was taking place. Like why are you scheduling tours! due to the construction work, the place was not heated and were literally shivering as we were showed around! Disaster The last that showed us around was pleasant but was super stoked about all the new plans for the place. Again, I couldn't visualize anything so of course I walked away feeling empty. Later that evening we went to Feragne Villa out in Hurst. The directions were a little confusing due to all of thay construction work going on out there but after calling and getting directions over the phone, we was there in no time First of all I could literally felt at peace as soon as we walked in no construction, it was heated, nice staff this place is absolutely beautiful! Rita, the owner showed us around and I could tell she was happy about her work she had every right to be. The place was absolutely adorable. We were greeted with a folder with everything we needed to know! Prices, food, DJ, bartenders, etc. so overall of course I liked Feragne Villa of them all. But we have more to go see really soon. So I will keep the reveiws coming. May the best Venue wins!

    Wow, thanks for sharing, I love hearing about new venues as well as people's experiences.  Let us know what you decide!

    FWIW, I would consider bringing in your own vendors like cake, DJ, photographer, etc., whenever possible.  I have heard lots of horror stories about using vendors provided by all-inclusive wedding venues, and I have to say, I'm not a fan of it. JMO of course.

    <div>Thanks Stephie! Unfortunately Im still on the hunt for the perfect venue. I think im getting impatieht, well lets just say I didn't think it would be this hard. All I asked for was an all inclusive place, no restrictions on food/alcohol, seating for a 100 guest, and allowed outside vendors for a budget of $5000. </div>

    I toured Faragne Villa today as well. It was very pretty and exactly what we were lookin for. I love that they are basically all inclusive, and the price is really good. I don't plan to use all of the services though. I plan on using an outside photographer and possibly an outside caterer, if I can find an affordable one. If we book there we will be booking a Friday night. Makes no sense to pay over a thousand more for the same thing on a Sat. Good luck on your search!
