What dress is this?

I saw it in the window of a bridal store, and they won't tell me the designer. They also won't let me know the price unless I make an appointment. Based on those two things alone, I don't want to go to this bridal salon. But I really want to find this dress elsewhere!

So I'm going to try to describe it for you and pray that the TK detectives will find it for me!

It's strapless, lace top, then the lace pattern sort of trickles down into the A-line tulle skirt (so heavier lace pattern at the top of the skirt, then fewer with just a few lace designs towards the bottom of the skirt). Any ideas???

Also, I know it is (probably) one of these designers as they're the ones listed that the salon carries:

You should take the pic and then post the pic around. I'm sure some bride-to-be detectives will be able to figure out what it is!! How snooty of them to not even tell you who makes it!

Shoes - the first one is close, but the lace is more Alencon lacey (I think? Traditional bridal lace? Like Kate Middleton's lace style).

Grr... yes, I'll go take a picture tomorrow! That really burns my butt that they won't tell me the designer!

Random tip...some shops will cut the labels out of samples so you can't find it elsewhere. That's illegal. Feel free to give a place that does that a hard time.

Actually, what Seatea is becoming a trend in things viewed as luxury goods. I heard of a skiboot place doing it and then giving you the money back once you guy there. It is to prevent people from trying things on and going and buying it online.

It's definitely a pretty dress... but did anyone else want to bark at the model to stand up and fix her bad posture?

Well, if I were considering buying a dress somewhere, I sure as heck wouldn't consider buying a dress from a place that made me pay to try on dresses. That'd be an instant "walk-out-of-store" moment.

Found a nice salon that doesn't cut labels, hide prices or designers, charge for trying on dresses, AND carries that dress! Made an appointment for when my Mom comes on June 8th!!! One problem - it's out of my budget. But my Mom's made noises about buying my dress for me, separate from the wedding budget, so I'll let her see it on the rack and decide if I should even try it on. I have a feeling it might be the dress! That's Fatima and there's a similar dress called Felisha that is also gorgeous, so we'll see!
