Had my shower yesterday!

It was a blast! We had it at a restaurant right on the beach and everything went perfectly...well I assume so, my only job was to show up and look fab!

Anyone else who had their shower: was it kind of weird though? Like walking in and having all eyes on you, there for you? Made me wish FI was there to share in the attention lol. And that was not even a 1/4 of the amount of guests coming to the wedding yikes!! 

I had a ton of fun though, and got so many good gifts!! yahoo!!

    I haven't had my shower yet, but I know what you mean. I don't like being the center of attention. And having everyon'es eyes on you, watching your every move lol. I am glad you had a great shower, can't wait for mine!

    I had my shower yesterday as well.  It was a tea party at a local tea place.  And I agree with OP, it was weird to have all the attention.  I joked with my BM's that as a child I never had birthday parties (outside of immediate family-my mother didn't like other people's children haha) so I have never been in that situation lol.  Now I stress as to where I am going to put all this stuff lol.

    It was a little weird, but it was a small shower (20ish people). I rushed to open the gifts because I hate going to showers where the gift opening goes on foreeeevvveeer.

    Yeah like I felt like every word I said every person was listening. And whenever I got up to go to the bathroom or wash my hands someone wanted to go with me or escort me. I think the private photo shoot after the wedding will be a nice relief for FI and I!

    Yeah I just have a giant pile in my garage! But the Keureg I was sure to dig out! ;)

    I had my second shower Saturday ! It was a small "Bridal Tea withthe bride to be ". It was OOT with some old co-workers and friends. It was great seeing everyone and it was a lot less pressure the my first big one !! Not sure how I like being center of attention lol

    My shower was yesterday! I was nervous on my way there; like big-knot-in-my-stomach nervous because I don't enjoy being the center of attention..haha. But everything was fantastic! There were a lot of ladies there (about 60!) and the way my bp set it up was great..opened some gifts, then took breaks to raffle off some baskets they had made as prizes for the guests! The food was great, the favors were great (stuffed cupcakes!). My sister made centerpieces - melted records molded into bowls holding cake pops! It was a great time! :)
