Dreams-Palm Beach/Dominican Republic

We will be getting married in the OBX on Sept 7th, then heading to the Dominican Republic and staying in an Oceanfront Honeymoon Jacuzzi Suite at Dreams Palm Beach.  Has anyone stayed in a Dreams?  Pros and cons?  How about the Dominican Republic in general?  Any and all tips and reviews, both good and bad would be appreciated!  Thanks everyone!!!

    I never stayed at the hotel but I did stay in the Dominican Republic. We stayed in P*unta Cana( sorry is is making me break that word up), not sure which side that is on. It was gorgeous, we were less then 30 minutes from the airport and our area was almost all resorts. There was really a town, or at least one we could find. But it was gorgeous. The beaches are clean, the people are so nice. The food is yummy. We swam with the dolphins while there and they had a little outside wild life thing. It had igunas that were huge. Loved it can't wait to go back there.

    I stayed at Dreams P-Cana in 2007 and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Food was great and entertainment was great.  I hope you have a great time!!!
