I had a pretty good weekend. FI and I saw The Hunger Games on Friday night and it was AWESOME! I can't wait for the second movie to come out next November.

We also bought almost all of the stuff we need for our DIY projects, and we made the stick pins for our escort cards! I am super proud of myself for making them because I am the least crafty person ever. But they turned out amazing.

WR this week: FI and I have our first dance lesson tomorrow! I'm also on the hunt for a cool jar for our guest book cards, and I want to start addressing our invitations.

NWR: hmm not a whole lot out of the norm that I can think of.

My weekend was fantabulous!!! WR we are going shopping on sunday for our wedding bands in NYC. I can't wait to get them ordered.

NWR- I have a bridal shower on saturday and I need to work out a ton this week to burn off all of the food I ate this past weekend.

Excellent weekend! I am finally home from Boston!

WR: I am almost done assembling my invitations so hopefully I can finish that up and address them. Also going to try and make my card box this week. Making some phone calls today to a few salons about hair since my girl backed out.

NWR: Catching up on everything from being gone. Nothing to exciting.

My weekend wasn't very good because I had a terrible headache that lasted the entire time! I went to bed at 7:30 on Saturday, still felt awful until last night. Our dog hasn't been feeling well- he's been eating remains of deer and having bouts of diarrhea all over.

And we cannot figure out how to program our heater- we've cleared everything that the sellers had on their program (schedule), but the heater still comes back on during times we don't want it on! We have no idea how everything else works in our house- the sellers were supposed to be with us during our final walk through to show us how everything works but decided they couldn't make it and informed us 15 minutes prior our scheduled time!

On the plus side, we got started with our ceremony details!!

I had a decent weekend! I worked all weekend..had a little mini girls night last night...I found out my favorite great aunt was diagnosed with brain cancer & has 1 yr to live....ugh...sucks butt holes....

On the positive: we're working on invites, we got our 1st RSVP for the bridal shower!! YAY!!!

Had a nice weekend. NWR- Friday night I had dinner with my best friend, she took me out for my birthday and then last night FIL took me and FI out for my birthday as well.. Birthday week is over now

WR- Well as some of you saw i had a mini meltdown about my invitations but I think I got it all squared away- thank you to those who helped

. Tonight I have an appointment to meet with a florist. FI is ordering his GM sneakers (they are all wearing Nikes) this week so that is a nice check we get to remove. And I am going to start getting together the supplies to finish some of the DIY projects I want to do. I can not believe I am almost at the 100 day mark!

Good morning! So NWR my best friend is having a breakdown because her boyfriend just broke up with her...this is much worse from the other breakdown she was in the middle of having because he was here for a month but just left to go back home to tokyo...I'm taking her out for a girls day today.

WR I met my DJ yesterday and am very excited at how well we clicked. In the end he hugged me twice and said i was his new best friend lol. So now we will sign the contract friday. I also need to get my FI out to try on tuxes and figure out what the groomsmen will wear.

The weekend was good. Saw hunger games!!! Loved it. And I got to go in a date night with FI. That doesn't happen very often. WR: hopefully finally booking the baker. Also, in the long officiant saga, finding out if it will be legal for my aunts to get ordained online and perform the ceremony. NWR: work. Oh and I have Friday off but have to come in at 3 for rehearsal. I tried to get them to do it during the day but I failed.

LM i am sorry to hear about your aunt. My FI's cousin has brain cancer and the doctors gave him that long also, and he is still sticking it out after 5 years thank God. Sending T &P's your way!!

We really didn't do much this weekend. We went to see 21 Jump Street, it was funny. This weekend we are hopefully going to buy his ring and start doing the frames again and i need to get back in to the gym and get my routine going again (I have been slacking ALOT!)

LM - Sorry about your aunt! FI's Uncle was diagnosed with terminal cancer last week, as well. They are only giving him about 3 months, so now we're scrambling to see if we can possibly see him in the next month or so, but it's so hard with our wedding planning trip to the U.S. next month, too (the Uncle lives in Croatia). Hopefully you can still have some quality time with your Aunt soon!

This weekend was great overall. We had really beautiful weather so FI and I had a picnic outside by the river on Saturday and had such a great time that we did it again on Sunday! I also worked on the invites and made HUGE progress. I only have about 20 left (out of 200) to make and address, which is such an awesome feeling.

WR: Need to make hair / make-up trial appointment for when I'm in the U.S. next month.

NWR: Pretty much a normal week. It's relatively busy at work right now, so just trying to be as productive as I can.

My weekend was great. Had a fun night out with friends on Friday, Saturday Fiance and I made another trip to the tux store to make some final changes to his tux and to the GM apparel, then we saw Hunger games in IMAX (it was the best 2 hrs and 22 minutes of my life, despite the various times that I burst into tears during the movie), and yesterday my mom and I did some power crafting shopping. She found her wedding shoes, and then we spend about 2 hours in Joann Fabrics. We bought fabric to make pocket squares for GM, ushers, dads, and for my fiance, all of the materials for our card boxes, some baskets for our "bathroom baskets" at the reception, a couple little easels to hold up signs at the reception, materials to make and bling out table numbers, as well as materials to DIY our place cards! I think that is it....

I found out that my mom didn't know what an escort card was! I talked about escort cards again over the weekend, and finally my mom was like "honey, I really just don't understand. Who is going to be escorting these people? Are the ushers going to be put to work again at the reception?" I think I finally got her cleared up on that

This week will be a fairly slow week at work, nothing too big going on. Fiance and I don't really have anything wedding related going on, I think the next big task that we have on our to-do list is booking limos/shuttles/etc. for the day of the wedding!!

LM, so sorry to hear about your aunt.

WR: This weekend, my mom was in town and I bought my earrings for the wedding at Saks! I love them and they were the last pair the lady had at the counter, so I really lucked out.

We also finalized our menu and I'm really, really happy about our decisions. We're doing 8 passed hors d'oeuvres, a raw bar with shrimp, crab claws and oysters, and a crazy cheese and crudite spread for the cocktail hour. Originally we were just going to do 5 passed, but we decided to overload because it's going to be 1.5 hours, rather than just one hour. We also decided to do a chocolate fountain for dessert along with the cake, which I really wanted, but thought was absurdly overpriced. We got the caterer to drop the chocolate fountain price basically down to cost, which is great news! And I'm really happy with our first course choice, which we decided to upgrade a little bit. Basically, I'm just really happy with the menu and hope I actually get to taste some of it the night of the wedding!

NWR: This week is going to be BAD at work. I will likely be here at least till midnight, if not later, every single night. I think I'll probably leave to go to the gym/yoga each day, just to break up the work. In any event, if I am randomly responding at all hours of the night to posts on here, it's because I need a break from work.

WR: Nothing for the wedding this week because we....

NWR: BOUGHT A HOUSE THIS WEEKEND! We got so lucky on this house that I'm now waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under us. (I'm a pessimist, obvi)

And LM; i am very sorry to hear about your aunt. You and your family are being sent T&Ps.

My weekend was pretty good- FI surprised me with a visit Friday night- i thought it was going to be another 2 weeks before I saw him. And he bought Captain America and Thor movies so we could see them before the Avengers comes out in May! Woo! Superhero movies are definitely my guilty pleasure. I had a friends wedding shower, and I forget what else, but the weekend was good. As for wedding checks; i did order my earrings, picked up a possibility for BM jewelry, and i think i found some cake inspiration.

This week: NWR; i have a paper due tomorrow Im slacking on, and I need to do some job follow up. This weekend is going to be fun though- i have a bar crawl friday with a big group of friends.

WR: Its time to round up addresses, and we are narrowing down our house choices so that we can visit the top few and start moving forward with that. Also, I need to get out to the mall to find a RD dress I saw online, but they didnt have it in store at the first one i checked.

After today, im in for a pretty easy week!

NWR:I have about 4 papers due in the next 5 weeks that i need to get done. I also need to being working out again. I sort of slacked off duing midterms and spring break -_-

WR:NOTHING! I am taking a break this week. Saturday FI and I are going to do linens for our cake table and thats about it.

This weekend went by way tooo fast. We had a walk through inspection on Saturday for a house. No major problems, so just onto securing financing which from mekiakoo's experience it sounds like we will have tons of issues!

WR - This week probably not much, I think I need to reorder our envelopes since we may be moving before the wedding. I think I might find a stamp to go with this any one have any ideas where to get a personalized stamp for a return address? Also saw on my friends phone (accidentally!) that my shower invites are going out soon! The bridal shower is a surprise to me as the day and such since my mom wants to do it that way. I have a feeling it will be in May..... so off to registry stalk.

NWR - Just working and doing school work all week. It's one of my friends birthday's this week so I'm trying to get out of work early on Saturday to go out for dinner with her.
