I have actually had a pretty great weekend. I had a mental breakdown yesterday morning, but FI picked up all the pieces and is just being his wonderful self. I seriously wonder how in the world I got so lucky sometimes. I'm completely horrible compared to how patient he is with me.

On a less mushy note, we've gotten some big checks done this weekend! Tux's and our Reception Menu. I get to do a recheck on our Rehersal Menu Thursday (we forgot about it being the first friday in Lent - opps!) Now I am just planning our trip to the commissary. I'm hoping and praying it isn't busy first thing in the morning. But we need meat, badly, and they have the best prices in town. So... I am going to fight the pay day crowd, unfortunately.

Awww, yay for wonderful FIs!!!

My weekend has started out great with a Patriots win last night - I can't imagine the next game, no matter who wins today, will be much of a challenge so I'd say it's quite likely we'll be headed to the Super Bowl again! Woooo hoooo! I'm really hoping it's another Giants-Pats face off so we can redeem ourselves for 2008. That would feel really good!

We were going to watch the game at Hooters since they have outdoor seating so we could bring Sasha, but it was packed and freezing cold, so we bought food and went over to a friend's place who has cable. His roommates are kind of annoying, but I got to see my game, eat buffalo chicken wing dip, drink beer, and cuddle with Sasha, so it was a good night!

Today we're making Chinese dumplings and Korean kimchi and Mexican chili to keep in the fridge and eat all week, since FI is starting back at school and has classes 9am-9pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. It'll be an adjustment, but only 17 weeks now until we're out of here! And in 4 weeks, I have 2 weeks of Jury Duty. And I have to give 2 weeks' notice, so I only have 13 weeks of work until I give notice. Like how I'm trying to make it seem like as little amount of time as possible?!

I'm spending today working out and doing school work. I know I'm really exciting. Today is the day we lost my uncle 7 years ago and we have a really small family so it still hits us all pretty hard, especially since he was 48 and it was sudden (he had a brain anuerism). We had dinner with the family last night. When I think about it, it really makes me appreciate my time with my family more. Sorry I just got really depressing.

Aww sammy, Hugs to you. I know that feeling. I actually got teary eyed the other day coming home from work thinking about my aunt who passed away in 2008. We were extremely close, so randomly it sneaks up on me and I get sad.

Anyway, on a happier note. I am currently having a mimosa. H and I made breakfast at home and are lounging around. Our big plans for today include cleaning our cars.

Also, I'm geting my hair cut and highlighted tomorrow. I'm so ridiculously excited since I haven't highlighted sine July and it totally needs it.

Hi ladies! At the airport in new Hampshire waiting to board. Can't wait to get home and do nothing this afternoon! I had a great time at my cousins wedding though seeing my mom and brother! And Sara, it wasn't dry!!

Today we are headed over to my inlaws. I'm feeling gross today. I gained 5 lbs and I can really feel it. Plus I have a huge canker sore and it's hard to even talk.

Tomorrows the day we start buckling down and getting stuff ready for our move. I looked up the 10 day forcast and the day we are down there is on the list. I can't believe it! It came so fast!

Hello everyone!!

Well today I posted my apartment on Craigslist and hopefully I'll be getting some bites soon. I've been looking at some condos and hopefully I can get some info on them tomorrow. This weekend's been nothing but headaches...hopefully things will turn out well.

Ggirl- OOHHH!! I've kinda been wanting to do my hair...but I know I won't like it after 3 weeks lol

SAmmy - my prayers are with you and your family Amh- my FI is the same way! I can be so awful sometimes, but his patience and calmness amazes me. Hes just what I need. And I can't wait to do normal every day stuff with him like go to the commissary, I miss him so much! This weekend my mom and I shopped around for our last two vendors on our list- cake and florist. Hoping to get them booked this week! But I feel pretty crappy, I absolutely hate being sick! Think I may have to miss work tomorrow, I would usually just buck up and deal with it, but I'd hate to get the kiddos sick too. On a good note, I lost 3 pounds! Hope to keep it up until the big day!

Hey Ladies,

Just having a lazy day here. I went with my BM's and they picked a dress yesterday. It's not the one that we originally thought, but I love it and so do they, so yay! I had worked 3a-7a prior to leaving and had only gotten about an hour of sleep before that, and had worked the whole day leading up to- so yesterday, I fell asleep around 330pm and woke up at 10pm. I drugged myself back to sleep around 1am. lol. Melatonin and benadryl-- yes please! It was a bit too much though and I didnt wake up until noon. LOL.

I will be heading out to see my horse soon, and then going to church this evening since I didn't make the morning service.

I've been in a blah mood lately, and IDK why. I think it's because there's so much on my mind, so much I have to do... anyway, FI is super busy with work and taking 3 classes so that cuts into the amount of time we get to talk, which doesn't help. I'm trying not to be needy, but it's nice having an actual conversation more than twice a week. I know some of you ladies are away from your fi/h and don't get to talk even that much, so I am grateful but I also didn't foresee this affecting us this much (as I would expect a deployment to). Anyway, its kinda got me down; plus all the things I have to get done

On the bright side, my birthday is in 4 days!! and I will get to go be with FI, who hopefully won't have schoolwork to do the entire time.

I know exactly how you feel, especially the bolded part. I've been there more times than I can count in the 4 years FI and I were LD. Hugs to you, and I hope y'all can work out a better call schedule to be able to have real conversations. Oh, and happy early birthday! :)

Fire, I totally understand. Over the summer I was working days and he was working nights. I only talked to him on weekends...or he would call me at 2am when he would get off...and that was mainly to say "I love you, goodnight" Pics of the BM dresses??

I am ashamed to say I am sore from playing the kinect last night. How embarressing...I guess I really need to start working out some. Haha.I managed to find 2.50 in quarters so I guess I need to do laundry. (I will LOVE having my own washer/dryer)

I'm going to spend the afternoon doing homework I have lots of reading to do and I feel like there is nothing worse than reading text books!.. I'm feeling better though so Yay!!! I made some pretty amazing Steak Sandwhiches today for lunch and I have beef stew in the crock pot!!

Fire - Happy Early Birthday! I hope things get easier for you and your FI soon, maybe it's just trying to get into the new routine of how to handle things with the new schedule. Either way, I hope it gets better soon. Oh and BM dress pictures please!!

Thank you ladies. We are watching football while I make our "Christmas Dinner" of Lasagna, garlic bread and steamed veggies- then opening up presents.
