    well, the stuff for after my wedding was just whatever i had gotten as gifts at my bridal shower. otherwise, i tend to like more retro-y stuff, pin-up style :P

    I'm trying to come up with something fun to put my table names in, a cool frame or holder?

    Still working on my invites!!  Also scanning and editing old photos for my vintage frame display.

    I don't have anything but the garter yet....but I see myself in something ivory and black made of satin and lace.  Maybe with a vintage flare!

    Hmm. I don't think that I have anything new right now. I did design a tote bag for one of my BMs with a Pride and Prejudice theme. 

    What wedding-related project are you tackling this December?
    I just found out that I have to get my invitations ready because my brother is joining the army. He needs to show my invitation as proof of why he needs to delay enlistment. I think I'm also going to book our DJ

    What's your latest retro/vintage idea/inspiration?
    I'm actually really into pearls lately. I know that we're already having our cake covered in sugar pearls, and I'm also wearing my mom's pearl jewelry that she wore at her wedding, so I'm trying to find other ways to incorporate them. I found some really beautiful centerpieces that had candleabras draped in pearls. Looked really elegant.

    What wedding-related project are you tackling this December?
    Budget. Ew. We're sort of soul-searching about what to do budget wise, because we want it to be elegant and fun, but we don't want to spend an obscene amount of money on one day. I'm sure you all can sympathize.

    Vavavoom!  Tell us about/let us see your lingerie inspiration.  Is it retro/vintage inspired?  I'm thinking about an investment piece. I really love lingerie and am thinking about something really special for the wedding.
    This is sort of what I'm thinking:


    This in a tiffany blue satin with the black lace overlay. It's beautiful and beautifully made. I have a few, from frederick's of hollywood and victoria's secret, and they're okay, but not the best quality, obviously, so I'm thinking maybe a splurge may be in order. I've already got a drawer full of lingerie, so I think I want something really special and WOW for the big day. :) I dunno if I'll wear it during the wedding cuz I want to be comfortable, but definitely for the wedding night. :)

    THE DRESSES ARE DONE! pics are coming soon. but now its fitting all my bridesmaids in the dresses i made for them

    I found this really cute little corsette that is black with a big red skull and crossbones on it that i know my man will love!
