My wedding month board hasn't been working for 2 days! Annoying! Hopefully the knot will fix it soon.

Oh geez! I havent been on my month board in a few months. Im too honest and up front for them. They told me to go away. Haha.

But I dont have any other boards that Im a regular at...kinda sucks.

ahhh. just realized you are in my wedding month board also. How do you weigh in on the argument, if at all? If you can tell I am involved, on a "side", lol. But I'm nice, I promise!

Emierose, yes, I saw you on there today! I assume you mean the old vs new board posts. I'm with the newbies myself, I think. (Maybe b/c I'm still considered a newbie? I don't know.)

I actually hadn't noticed people getting really upset about things on the month board, so I don't know specifically what they're all referring to but I've seen many things on the bigger boards and experienced some myself. I think that b/c it's on the internet some people tend to get catty and pick things apart a little too much. I agree with the girls who say that stating your opinion is fine and good, but you need to be tactful about it. And if the more active and experienced people are tired of seeing the same questions over and over, why do they just not answer then?

Anyways, that's my 2 cents. I actually forget what you wrote on that thread, so I'll have to go back and check now. :-)

haha.. it kind of started cause there was a CRAZY girl on our board. she got banned almost two months ago, but has recently come back under a new name and some people aren't too happy (including me) she's a total train wreck. Some people on the board had a secret code that the board used to try and put a stop to her back then (like a sign to give her the cold shoulder) and people like her before she finally alienated herself badly enough to get banned.
After this somehow everyone just began throwing the word around (bacon) even though they don't know the origin or reason, and so someone posted the other day - "could you please all stop using bacon? It's not funny anymore, and you don't seem to know what it even really means..." and then someone (who pretends to be super nice, but... well this isn't the WHOLE story) got mean to the OP over it, and started a war of newbies vs. regs, or oldies..
which is besides the point of people asking for opinions but then refuse to accept them (or refuse to use the search feature to see the same question was asked 56 minutes prior...),
So.. yes I agree people should try to think about how they say things, but some of the best ladies on the board, who I really love to pieces are just very humorous, sarcastic, and somewhat cynical personalties. They aren't going to change, and they shouldn't have to. They are well loved by many people in the TK community and people need to get over themselves ugh..
end rant.

Ha! Well, I definitely missed the whole bacon business; I've really only been looking at boards for about a month. I'll keep on there to see how it shapes up. Thanks for the info and glad to see you in 2 places!

yes, stick around on there! People can be really fun and have some AMAZING projects and stuff to share!
There are some people to watch out for, and it's not who you are going to think it is.. the person who stirs the pot the most is the one who pretends to love everyone but then brings out the claws against anyone who goes against her!
