Help me pick a bridesmaid dress!

I would like to go with a pale blue or pale pink... The wedding is next August.   Any suggestions?  Here's my dress (Kenneth Pool by Amsale - Anastasia).  Thanks!

Mercy, we are not the ones you should be asking this question.  You should be asking your BMs.  After all, they are the ones who have to pay for the dress and wear it.  If you haven't done so yet, ask each one privately and individually for her budget and make her give you an answer.  The one with the lowest number is the one that sets the budget ceiling.  Go from there.

You need to pick a  that will look good on all your BMs. That being said, you need to go with them and have them try some on. We could pick a dress but it may not look good on your BMs. You also need to make sure to pick one all your BMs can afford.

yup, ask your girls their preferences on budget and any other details.

My MOH, for example, hates pink.  She said she'd wear it for me, but why would I want to force her?  I was also asked to avoid yellow for skin-tones.  Last but not least I was asked to avoid strapless if possible, b/c some of my girls had larger ladies that needed support.  (I asked for all this input, so it wasn't like they were being super demanding or anything).

From there I started browsing DB's website and then had my girls all try on 4 or 5 I liked and give me feedback on what they liked and didn't like (they were too spread out to plan a group shopping trip, but I went with everyone I could).  If they'd had WAY different opinions I might have gone the "let them pick their own dress in this color" route, but as it was they all liked the same two, so I picked one.

Yep.  Ditto everyone else.  The people wearing the dress should be the ones helping you decide.

This is your day not the bridesmaids you need to put them in a dress that you like or something that makes it so all eyes are on you. My advise is to choose the perfect wedding flip flops and go from there.
