Did you or Husband Cry at Ceremony??? (POLL)

My husband was a sobbing mess when I was walking down the aisle. It was the sweetest thing ever. I teared up right when I starting to walk when I heard the music, but then told myself in my head to pull it together since I didn't want to look ugly in pics. lol.

    I would've voted Other

We both teared up but didn't cry we held it together pretty well. Our drunk best man on the other hand sobbed like a baby during our first dance... what a nancy!

  • I voted wrong...we both teared up, but not sobs :)
  • I was really surprised at both of us!  I was only a little teary down the aisle and FI was just beaming trying to hold it back lol....I am a total basket case and I didn't cry at all...a few tears at the beginning...
  • The whole room was crying! Lol I cried because H started crying during his vows.
  • We didn't cry, we both teared up.  We couldn't look at anyone because half the church was crying.  Then during the first dance his aunts were balling their eyes out, I think they were drunk at that point, and we had to nto look at them to prevent us from crying.

  • I teared up at the rehearsal when we practiced our vows, and so did he. That must have gotten it out of my system, though, b/c I was very calm and collected for the real deal.

  • Teared up before I got down the aisle and cried the whole way down (some awesome pictures of that) but then was good as soon as I got on the alter with DH and held his hand!

  • We both creid at one point just not during the ceremony. I cried before hand - he cried after.

My cry fest was so awesome though - we were standing in the "hiding spot" waiting for groom to enter the church - my daughter FG was there with us and I looked at her to see if she was ok - and she said "Mom, I'm so happy, I feel like I could cry." I told her it was ok to cry if she wanted to. And her tears started - so of course so did mine, and my dad's and my MOHs. She cried through the entire ceremony until she got to hug her new dad!

H cried after the ceremony just a little when we went to have a few minutes alone. We exchanged cards and spent some time alone - well my card and what I wrote in it had him teared up.

  • I just barely cried while walking down the aisle. I can't tell in any pictures, I think because I held the smile, to try to stop it lol But by the time I got to DH, I was good. He *says* he teared up a little bit, but I sure didn't see it lol I think his mom was probably the worst out of anyone :) I couldn't look at her when she came into the room after I got dressed. I could tell she was tearing up so I kept looking elsewhere so I didn't cry!

I did surprise myself all day, though. I almost cried at our last dance, but DH kept me talking, so I was ok. I seriously thought I'd cry all day long, but I guess I was just happy, and trying to avoid puffy eyes! haha

  • My husband teared up when I was walking down the aisle, but I did not at all. I was really surprised at myself because I'm a HUGE crier (seriously, cry all the time) but I was SO so so happy and excited that I had the biggest smile on my face for the entire ceremony. There are even some pictures of my husband looking solemn and thoughtful but me with the biggest smile on my face.
