Allergy friendly honeymoons

I'm gluten free ( I can't eat wheat, barley, or rye) and egg free. It can be kinda hard to find places that I can eat and accidental contamination could ruin the trip.

I have been on a cruise and the food was great and worked well for my diet. However, FI is worried that the food will be too good and won't help his weight loss goal.

I have heard Disney is good with allergies but we would prefer to save that trip for a vacation when we have kids.

Mexican food is normally pretty safe but neither of us speak Spanish so it might be a little more difficult.

  • The resorts in Mexico can cater to special diets. You do not need to speak Spanish as the wait staff and bartenders speak English (I think the maid/cleaning staff are mostly Spanish-speaking). This has been my experience anyway.

  • fruits and veggies are served in abundance in mexico. as long as you're at a fairly large resort spanish is not needed.
as for the cruise-if FI has any sort of self control he will be fine as the variety is very good.

  • Yeah, I'd say tell your FI to practice some self control!
