I have been on here for a year just looking at all the post to get ideas. I haven't posted too much. After my wedding on 6/2/12, I cannot say enough about my vendors and thought this would help new girls that may still be looking for vendors. I was thrilled with the way things turned out. I got married at 5pm, so the rain didn't get in the way for me. Here are some pics and then the reviews.
DJ- Luke's Disc Jockey: Best time ever!! He played everything, my dance floor was jammed all night long!!! I couldn't believe it!! He was sooooo organized!!! He followed his time-line to a T, it was amazing!!! The songs we chose and he played made for a wonderful night!! He was such a great announcer too! He didn't mess up any names he was just perfect, I also had a different song for each person and that was perfect!!! Everyone was around for my first dance, father dance, mother dance, cake cutting he was just amazing and really blew us away! We had the best time along w/our guests. Oh and Luke also did my Ceremony at Kay Chapel which was excellent.
Dessert Table: Bakery Botique -came out great! Did exactly what I wanted and people raved about it. The table looked gorgeous, there was sugar cookies, cake pops, chocolate covered graham cracker, chocolate covered oreos and everything was decorated in white and pinks, so beautiful!!
Cake: Lady I work with PM me if you want details. The cake was 5 tiers and just gorgeous!
Videographer: Mike at Artistic Video: Mike was awesome!! He got the best shots, and to be honest you would never even know he was there, he was that good!!! I couldn't believe how descreet he was. Mike was just so much fun and I cannot wait to see the video, I know it's going to be amazing. He showed us a couple quick things during the reception and it's awesome! My parents loved him and same w/my bridal party. We can't wait for video.
Photographer: Curtiss at Eloquent Images: Curtis is the best!!!! Never even thought twice about using him, he has done all my friends wedding and does a fantastic job!!! Can't wait to get my album, I know it will be amazing!!! He's great!!! Anyone that uses him will love him. Such a nice guy. My Dad hates getting his picture taken and he really liked Curtiss, again very discreet.
Hair: Stephanie Keenan from Shear Madness. She is my sister and you would think I'd be bias but she says it all the time I'm her worse client. I'm picky about hair, LOL!! She does the most amazing job and does weddings all the time. She did my entire bridal party plus the moms and everyones hair looked amazing. So many people complimented all of us. She will not stop until she knows your happy!! 401-782-8288 . My bridesmaid Rachael did the make-up another one that does fantastic job, she does this as a side job. She made us all look stunning.
Officiant: Mike Egan-Best guy ever, made my husband and I feel so calm. And he will tell you exactly what you need to do. He's the funniest guy too!!! My Bridal party thought he was great too! He's a good friend of the family so I knew without a doubt I would use him some day. Love him!
HOTEL VIKING: I literally felt like a princess from the moment I pulled up on friday to the second I left on Sunday. It was the most amazing experience, I didn't want to leave. I worked with Linda Ferguson, the entire process, she was AMAZING!!! Such a sweet woman and would get back to me right away. I also worked with Maryann, she was fantastic!!! The Bellman were fantastic! The staff at the Viking is the best The hotel is so beautiful and so clean. Spa Terre inside the Viking was AMAZING!!! I had a hot stone massage done by Catrina, that was fantastic and RELAXING!!!! I would recommend anyone to go there. The FOOD was amazing!!! When we went around to thank everyone, each guest raved about the food. I have people calling us asking what the marinade was in the salmon and how they make the brie passed hor dourves, everyone raved about everything. People keep emailing me and calling my parents about how great the Viking was. I'm so lucky to have gotten married there. I would not have changed a thing, it was the best experience ever!!!! Best day of my life.
