Secure wedding website

Are any of you using a wedding website that is password protected? If so, how much does it cost? I'd prefer one that is free but I am not sure how many are out there.

I may be a bit paranoid but I don't want the details of our wedding (mainly location type info) to be public.

I have it... the one in my Sig from TK (free) is pw protected.  I only allow people to read the little blurb about us without a pw.  The WP, venues, hotel info, etc.  is all under pw protection.
  • Ditto on PP.  That's what our website is on.  We did have a password on there for a while but I realized when I started to look at STD and invitaiton stuff you now need an extra line on everything to include the password which I didn't like.  We removed it.
  • mywedding.com allows for a password too and it's free. BUT it requires guests to register on the website before they can access your site, which is kind of a pain.
  • Thanks, I looked at the Knot ones and had no idea you could do that. I like the idea of having everything in one place. Fewer annoying to-do list emails this way too! I was hesitant to sign up with yet another site.

I think we'll do separate small cards wioth website info, or just spread the info by email. We only have 25 guests so it should be easy enough.

  • yup weddingwire has that ability. I have it open for now but I hid my guest info. Once the invites go out, I'll make the rsvp visible and pw protect it.
    All free - yay!
