Bridesmaids Luncheon Site Ideas

Any places that people suggest for a bridesmaid's luncheon in Austin? Every place I can think of either doesn't do this kind of thing or is too expensive. Looking for somewhere Austiny, fun, and with tasty food, rather than generic/chain places.

Thanks,
Kristin

How many people? They have a room at Viva Chocolato in the Domain that you can reserve that is real cute. The deposit for the room goes toward your food. They have lunch items like paninis and salad in addition to truffles and other chocolate goodness and yummy wines. I think it only holds like 10-12 though. You could also do something like the wine room at Twin Liquors (Hancock or Hill Country Galleria) and have a tasting of some sort with appetizers. Water 2 Wine also hosts private parties and you can bring in food and buy wine by the glass or bottle. You could do a private mani/pedi party at Embellish and bring in food & drink too. Have you noticed most of my suggestions revolve around wine? :)

I'm having mine at Green Pastures. I think they're a little pricey but it is a austin landmark and a very nice atmosphere. Check out their website.

How about Moonshine, on Red River & 3rd Street? I don't know how many bridesmaids you have, but they have a little house and a patio to the side of the main building that can be rented. The food there is amazing and it's a pretty place.
