How to tie in Sri Lankan theme to tropical theme

Hey all the lovely brides out there! 

I was just wondering if anyone wuold be able to help me tie in some Sri Lankan aspects to my wedding. I am 1/2 Sri Lankan and I just love everything about my culture but no one in my family has really incorporated anything Sri Lankan into their wedding besides for the wedding sari.

If any one has any ideas I would love to hear them!
