What have you done over the past week? WR or NWR.

WR: All of my bridesmaids officially have their dresses! My cousins from California sent me a picture of themselves in their dresses last night.... they look great! We all just love them!

They also found some shoes they are going to get to wear with them. I think we also have a pretty firm grip on our menu for the wedding... it has been a work in progress but we are REALLY close to having it figure out. It is tough to figure out how much food we will need.... it just heavy hors d'ouevres, but we of course dont want people to go home hungry!

NWR: I got all of Carter's birthday presents ordered. I cant believe he is 4 next month..... I am now working on planning his birthday party.

WR: All of my BMs officially have their dresses, too! DB sent the wrong one to one of them, and she finally got it straightened out this last week. The dress we chose has been discontinued, so I am really glad they all have them and we don't have to worry about that
We picked a DJ.
I made the deposit for hair/makeup and set up a tentative date for my trial in May.
FI bought my wedding band! I'm going to AW a PIP in another post

NWR: The lease at our apartment is up soon, and we've started looking for a house to rent. We looked at one, but weren't crazy about it. The town we live in is really expensive, so we're thinking about moving to a neighboring town to save some $$ on rent, but the commute would have to be worth it. Ugh...

WR:
Sealed/Addressed save the dates. Need to get stamps and they will go out this week.
Mom got her dress for the wedding and I actually really like it.

NWR:
Started Weight Watchers again and had a really successful first week. I went over to the house we built but haven't closed on yet. We close next week, so I was scouring over the house to make a list of things that need to be done by the builder.

WR: This is more like the past two weeks, but I haven't posted about any of it.
- All of my bridesmaids have their dresses. One is pregnant though and might need to get a new dress (excited for her though).
-finalized our wedding menu with our venue.
- designed and ordered our inviations, wedding menu and rsvp cards from VP
- DIYed the aisle decorations
- finished my DIY centerpieces. I wrapped the vases in plastic wrap tsop they won't get dusty or anything leading up to the wedding.
- have appointment to finalize honeymoon and pout down deposit for Wednesday.
-have an appointment with a bakery and florist on Saturday. Will hopefully be putting down deposits and booking them both Saturday.

Wow that is a lot! Finally feel like I am catching up and even getting a little ahaead!!

WR: -Most of my BMs have their dresses. One is waiting until the weekend to go. -The menu, ceremony start time, and reception start time have all been finalized with my venue. My venue also now has a DOC that will help you set everything up so I'm excited about that and trust her completely after we met last Thursday; she also will deal with all the vendors that day.
-More DIY projects have been started.
-Ceremony script is written and being reviewed by our officiant.
-Invite paper items have been ordered and are being printed. When they come in I'll start making the pocketfolds and assembling them.
-I purchased my makeup
-HM resort booked! I am now obsessed with Guatemala and learning what I can before the trip. I also need to review my spanish since I haven't spoke it regularly in 3 years.

NWR: -That paper I keep talking about is half way done. It seems to be insanely long but then I remember how much needs to be included.
-I only have 8 more apps to complete and they have all been started.
-Dying my hair was a pretty good success, not 100% but close enough. I have highlights instead of full head lightening (I need 2 bottles of dye, not 1 since my hair is so thick).

WR: designed invitations, engagement announcement ran in newspaper back home, ordered pics of our e-pics for the table names for the reception, played around with program designs

WR: We had our meeting with our venue. Did cake tasting and dedided on the flavors. It will be a 3 tier round cake with vanilla and red velvet layers, buttercream frosting, and buttercream/strawberry glaze filling. Yum! Also made our appointment for our rehearsal and discussed all of the details of our wedding.

NWR: I made the decision to join Weight Watchers. My friend and I are going to our first meeting this Wednesday, so I am excited for that.

Carter is a lucky little boy, to have had such an amazing christmas and now a birthday soon.

I've been baking a lot lately now that I have time. Made some honey oat bread, cina swirl bread, forest berry pie (with a lemon nutty crust), and we've had some great dinners. I'm going to miss this once school starts. Oh and I'm now obsessed with Lost. (no spoilers, please)

We also sent a lot of the STDs. My Mom is the one sending them and she did them in waves. Her side then his side kind of thing. Overly complicated.

WR: the girls have started looking at dresses and I think a couple have found ones they like; I asked all the kids and so far they all want to be in the wedding but me and my sisters decided we'd play it by ear and see how things go as it gets closer.

Today I plan on getting all my lists completed and looking at everything that needs to get done so I can start planning out when to do everything.

NWR: we've been really good about cooking at home most of the time which feels great and have gotten back into a routine with working out which also feels awesome. Now to just get into a cleaning routine

WR: We picked out our wedding bands.

NWR: We cleaned up the house. And bought sample paint to paint the bedroom. We have the swatches but still can't decide.

WR: We started looking at wedding bands, but haven't decided on exact rings yet. We met with a guitarist for our ceremony music - hopefully we will book him this week. We also are working with our venue to decide on which menu items we would like to taste. The big wedding show in our area was this past weekend. It was a total zoo, but fun to walk through. We have most vendors booked, but we figured out our Tux vendor and also got information about transportation and honeymoon options. We also are starting to re-think our rehearsal dinner location. FI's parents booked it a long time ago, but they don't have a buffet option and we really don't want a formal sit down dinner for our rehearsal dinner. Hopefully we can figure something out!

NWR - not much! Started tracking daily calories, which has not been fun.

I feel like I got so much accomplished this week, WR & NWR

WR:
-Bought Tolsby frames from IKEA
-Created all 22 table numbers to insert into frames
-Registered at Target
-Booked appt for Jr BM to order her dress (all other dresses are in already)
-Talked to my cousin about doing my makeup for the wedding.

To Do (this week):
-Buy spray paint & paint frames
-Fix register online and "add/change" items if needed
-Start stuffing invitations together
-Food tasting on Sunday!

NWR:
-Signed up for Weight Watchers & went to my first meeting on Sat.
-Lost 1.5 lbs
-Went to the gym 3 times last week

WR: Met with a friend who is designing our invites. We are on track for that. Got quotes for our meat kabobs from a local deli. Talked alchohol with the parents. Good to go on that. Purchased tons of stuff for decor/centerpieces at some thrift shops.

NWR: Lots of sleeping and working out and finished the 1st book of the Hunger Games! Vacation has been the best. But now it's back to work

To Do:
-work on grad school app (SO BEHIND!)
-meeting with wedding planner to get on track for our DIY projects
-finalize food choices
-let friends know about their involvement in the wedding (not BM/GM, but reading, songs, toasts etc...)

WR: All BM dresses are ordered, and we set up a meeting to finalize our menu and came up with a list of questions for the coordinator at our venue.
NWR: Nothing, I have been trying to enjoy the little time off I have left before my last semester of grad school.

WR: All the guys are fitted for tuxes, checked on the hotel block, registered at BBB, paid second half of my dress and bought a headband to go with it, bought beads for the edging on my veil, my family visited on Saturday and we finished assembling all the pocketfolds/glued on the mats, had a meeting with the priest to sign a bunch of forms

NWR: C accepted a new job and we our new stove finally came in!

-Went to bridal show. Talked to a ton of DJs and photobooth vendors... now to choose one.

-Decided on florist & sent deposit. Big relief!

-started making cake toppers last night. Making little clay figurines that look like us as Simpsons characters.

-FI and I talked cake ideas/inspiration with our friend/cake baker.

-I'm really feeling motivated to get the rest of the wedding stuff on track, its great that FI is finally feeling that way too.

WR: Well we were supposed to go look at wedding rings last weekend but the store we wanted to go to was closed (small family owned business, closed for some reason) so that had to wait, FI got his passport picture taken so now he just has to actually get his passport, started looking seriously into HM places and decided to go to AAA next weekend for some help in planning, found out I can't get to venue until 2 hours before and talked with my photographer who made me relax and realize it's still enough time for photos.

NWR: Had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with FI. Because of the holidays we haven't just relaxed in a long time!

WR: We went shopping for FMIL and my mom's dresses for the wedding. We are going again in 2 weeks before they finalize anything. I also bought our invitations and our card box at Michael's (with 50 % off coupons!) I picked a date for our taste testing (1/31) and we are going to book our excursions for the honeymoon this Wednesday. I plan on ordering the BM's dresses this week after the last BM goes to pay for hers on Thursday. I finally found the $100 gift certification I won at a bridal show for transportation so that is next on our to-do list (I was so worried I lost it!)
NWR: Getting my hair done tomorrow.

NWR: currently working on getting our apartment back in order after the holidays

ETA: Megan (MMRoberts), Guatemala sounds amazing!! You'll have to give us reviews after the honeymoon!
