Wedding Woes

I've been missing WW

This election season, my other staunch Dem/political rouser of the board.

Also, I will miss live commenting on the debates this year.  I'm sure I'll still be here by my lonesome, but it will never be as awesome as when (I think it was) PMeg, MsCali, WW and I were on here making fun of Palin during the VP debates.  And McCain was just such awesome fodder that year.  I saved those threads for the longest time until it was so old it wasn't in existence (I think one of the Knot upgrades demolished them), b/c they cracked me up so much.

I'll do the debate tonight with you. Romney is not quite as fun as Palin but I'm hoping for an Asian face makeup look. I was thinking of her the other day. I get annoyed at everyone who throws pink around and trips over themselves to be the best Breast Cancer Awareness person ever because boobs and pink and cancer is bad. But fvkc, there was an awesome woman who died way to fvkcing young and not of breast cancer. And that fvkcing cancer deserves as much recognition and money thrown at it as breast cancer because no one even as half as awesome as her should die of cancer.
  • I think Romney is going to go extreme, no matter which way it is.  So we're either going to get McCain and beyond with big exhalations, big eyerolling and Oh boys (which was fun) OR Al Gore's wooden statue that Gore was modeling himself after.

Actually, I'm interested to see Obama as well.  He's been looking wore out lately and his last few speeches have been not to awe-inspiring.  I think he's going to play it too cool and close to his chest.

It might be the most boring debate of all time.

Which is why this exists:  http://www.debatedrinking.com/#.UGxEH-HWgec.facebook.  I will be taking very small sips of probably weak wine or beer.  And I think I'll be drinking for Romney, his list is likely to get me less tipsy.

  • Eh I don't begrudge the organizations- they are great at marketing. I dislike the corporations that ride the pink train into corporate profits and the people who gobble this stuff up with out having a true awareness of how the money is used and that turn a blind eye to the lack of research dollars being spent on research for other cancers.
  • Those were the days. I miss her too. I'm hoping Romney dons his brown face again. I'm not sure if I can watch tonight. I may have to dvr it.
  • I do feel bad for Obama, and the way that presidencies way on any one person...or family.  But, Shoutout to the anniversary of the Obamas.  Talk about inspiring...*sigh*

  • Ha!  I need to stream Maddow while watching...she's hysterical.

  • I do dislike Komen.  They're a huge steaming pile of pink sh*t.
