Hawaiian Postage Stamps!

Hi ladies!

So, I read in my "Beat of Hawaii" newsletter (great for keeping up with airfare deals!!!) about Hawaiian postage stamps to be released this Thursday as well as by the end of this month! Here's the link to the page.

So heads-up to those sending out invitations, soon...

The one being released on Thursday are $0.32 Aloha shirts. There are five of them featuring, "surfers and their boards; one shows fossil fish, shells, and sea stars; another shows a tropical flower known as the bird of paradise; and one shows Kilauea, a volcano on the Big Island of Hawai'i." The one being released on January 23rd is a Bonsai Forever stamp ($0.45). It features Bonsai tree art of Hilo artist John D. Dawson. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Link to Bonsai Trees.

I am definitely going to use these stamps for our invitations! The Bonsai ones specifically. The Aloha Shirts I'll be using for our STD envelopes...

PS Now I wish I were sending STD postcards and not magnets since the $0.32 is perfect for postcards (I think)!

These stamps are great. We were planning on buying both while we are there later this week. Getting the postcard stamps (the aloha shirts) to put on postcards in our guests OOT bags and the bonsai ones for our ahr STD we will be sending out when we are on Maui, too. They are a great touch.

There's also a year of the dragon stamp that's really cool. I plan on using that one, too.

Great Stamps! We actually did custom stamps through zazzle for our rsvp postcards and invitations.

Thank you for the heads up! Two Aloha shirt stamps work perfectly for an invitation up to 2 ounces.
