  We did most down Wabash, Millenium Park and then took a drive to Lincoln Park.

  We did two sessions; one at Navy Pier and one at Oliver Park (right near Oak Street Beach).
  
  My other fav spot I've seen is State St and along the river.

  Kinzie bridge, Lily ponds, North Ave beach, the bean, at your local L stop, In the middle of Michigan Ave by the wrigley building, Wrigley field, State street by the Chicago theatre, water tower

  We did ours just in a field. It was very much about us and less about the landmarks.

  We did ours at the South Pond area of Lincoln Park. There are a ton of different backdrops that you can find there from more urban to places where it looks like you aren't in the city at all with trees, grass and field. And there is some really interesting architectural pieces in that area (the stone bridge, the honeycomb-like arch etc.)
