Too much dress for the beach?!?

I've found a dress online that I love but there's a problem.. I will have to travel a pretty good ways to see it/try it on and not to mention, pay a transfer fee to get the dress at that location. The transfer fee will be taken off my dress if I buy it there but before I decide on this I need a little help. I plan on having my June wedding at the Olowalu Plantation home in Maui. I'm not familiar with Hawaii so needless to say I don't know how the weather will be in June, but I imagine HOT!  So.. for those of you that have had a beach wedding and/or are familiar with Maui's temperature in June.... is this too much dress for a beach?

Here's the link to view the dress..

I think its beautiful! I will be getting married at Olowalu in July and my dress is longer like this one with satin and lace. So I think you should be good! Congrats!

I think it is beautiful!  My dress is also from demetrios and very similar!!  Im getting married in march.  Organza material feels very light and airy to me!!  Location yet to be confirmed but I keep going back to Olowalu so here's hoping i can make it work with my budget!

I just got married at Olowalu in July and my dress was pretty intense and I was also worried about dying of heat. My wedding was at 5 and I wasn't too hot at all, actually I felt just right all day. My dress was this one
in case you wanna compare :)

I think it looks great! A lot of people get the dress of their dreams instead of the dress that suits the location... and there are many reasons for doing this way. I've heard a lot of girls say that it was super hot, but they still had no regrets :)

You will most likely be hot no matter what dress you choose.  Long dress + outdoors in the sun + June = hot.  It's kind of a matter of how hot you're willing to be -- I was definitely sweating under my dress, but I also wouldn't change it for the world.  If you love it, go for it!   I happen to think that dress is beautiful, flowy, and fitting for the location.  And if you don't wear a crinny or anything under it, doesn't have to be THAT hot.

The dress is beautiful!  I'm getting married in June at Olowalu as well and my dress is similar to yours but in silk taffeta.

I think that you'll be fine, I'm sure it is going to be hot but who knows you might be able to tolerate higher temps.  But no matter what you should choose to wear what you want to wear on your wedding day!

OMG! That's my dress! I bought that exact one last week in Ivory.

Lemme tell you, it's even more gorgeous in real life :) And it's surprisingly light weight! There isn't a bunch of layers underneath and it's super comfortable. I'm getting married on the beach too, so that was super important to me.

GO FOR IT! You won't regret it :)

Like the other girls have said organza is a really light material and goes well with a beach wedding. It will likely be hot no matter what dress you pick so go with what you love. :)

Thanks so much girls! I was very worried about it but I think ya'll have helped make my decision easier. I have searched all over the internet and been to a couple dress stores but NOTHING has stuck out like this dress. I may hate it when i try it on but for now I LOVE it, and.. probably will be going to try it on asap!! :)
