  My name is Meaghan Colahan and I'm the Catering Sales Manager at the Crowne Plaza Bucks County, about 45 minutes from Turnersville outside Philadelphia. I just got married last May and I couldn't imagine being in the position of these poor women. I've developed a number of ways to try to help, from offering flexible payment plans for those trying to get deposits back, to offering reduced packages for brides who need to book last-minute.   I AM UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF THE RENAISSANCE BRIDES AND WAS 45 DAYS AWAY FROM MY WEDDING WHEN I FOUND OUT, FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO

  OMG that is my worst nightmare!!! (that and having the dress shoppe close with my bridal gown inside) How did it work finding a new venue? did they give you a discount or did you just lose your deposit altogether?

  Oh, gosh I almost had a heart attack.  I am having my wedding at The Renaissance in Ocean Twp... I am glad I read the article before freaking out.  Sorry if anyone is effected by this!  What a shame.
