Dash of Class / Platinum Entertainment/ NV DJ Entertainment?

Hello All Ladies in the NY/NJ area-

I cant seem to make up my mind on choosing a DJ.  Platinum Entertainment is the most expensive, Dash of Class is in the middle, and NV is the cheapest.  I was curious to hear reviews from anyone, especially for NV entertainment.  I havent heard of anyone who has used them, so I am hesitant to book them.  Please let me know if anyone has any input. Thanks!!

    bella:  try posting this on the local NY or NoJersey board.  You're likely to get more help with specifics like your question there than on one of these international boards.

    I used Vito from Dash of Class for my wedding 2 weeks ago, he was amazing! He was recommended by all my co workers who used him and Im so glad we went with him. All my guests raved about the music and watching our vows on screen before the cake cutting!

    Hello - I am in the same boat - we are having the reception at Ariana's and they reccomend Platinum, but they are very expensive.  I am not sure I need live entertainment as well as screens - any thoughts on tihs?

    I am using Platinum and I love them!!!  I have seen them at 2 of my friends weddings and booked them as soon as I got engaged.  I am not getting any live entertainment and I am doing their most basic lighting package so that brought the price down some.  I am using Anthony and Gary.  They have been so great during my wedding planning process.  They actually helped me get a number of other vendors and have kept in touch the whole time.  I would highly reccomend them!

    I would pick Platinum. 

    I have been to weddings/affairs with both and would prefer them if I were you.

    I went a different route with Classie Sounds and they were more expensive than both with what we chose but that's what we wanted.

    I am using Vito from Dash of Class, but originally could not decide between Platinum and Dash.  I really wanted lighting and the price from Dash was definitely more affordable, plus I have heard a lot of great things about them.  They were highly rec. to me by several brides from the area.  I think either is a great choice, so think about what is best for your budget.
