best rsvp yet! hail to the redskins!

We sent a wedding invitation to the redskins and we got a box from them today! We got two redskins hats, a wine stopper with their logo, and a really sweet card. I wasn't really expecting anything from them because I hadn't heard of anyone sending an invite to their sports teams. 

We'll have to see if anything else comes from our other invited "famous" guests.... :)

    That is a great idea! How clever... I've gotta do that too--my fiance and I met because of a mutual interest in the Redskins! Our friendship developed by watching games together in our dorm rooms, and I took him to his first NFL game--Nov. 6, 2005 against the Eagles...and the Redskins won! :)

    I never thought of sending an invite to someone famous...I might have to send one to the Pittsburgh Steelers to see if we get any kind of response! 

    What other famous people has everyone sent invites to?

    I'd like to know if you hear from the Steelers.  Although my whole family are diehard Redskins fans, my FI grew up outside of Pittsburgh and LOVES the Steelers.  Something from them would make him very happy.
