Make Up and Tattoos

I have two tattoos that I want covered up. so far I have contacted like 5 makeup artists and they are either booked for my wedding date or they do not do airbrushing. Am I the only dumdass that put tattoos where they will show?  I like to call it 18 and stupid. lol. Anyway Maybe someone else has this issue or maybe you know someone who does a really good job at covering them up?

There have been some thread recently on good recommendations for make-up artists. Here you go:

Hmm, does Kenneth's or Penzone's offer airbrushing? You might want to give them a call. It has been so long since I have been there, I honestly can't remember. If not, ask them to refer you to someone that does. I bet they have some good recommendations.

http://www.you-niquereflections.com/index2.php#/home/ You-nique Reflections offers airbrushing. Have you tried them yet?  I have a tattoo on my shoulder blade that will be showing, but I'm not trying to cover it up. I like my tattoo :)  Did you look around for tattoo cover up kits? I saw somebody on Craigslist selling one awhile back.

yes I like my tattoos too, just not where I put them, I have one on my back that will be showing too but I do not want the other two to show. Thanks ladies for the suggestions. I hope something works out

I'm not sure if you called them, but Muhka Spa also does airbrushing. MAC also makes a body foundation designed for long wear and covering tattoos (as well as body discolorations).

We used MelissaRoshan for wedding and not only does she do wedding and special events, but also does commercial and print work, so she would know how to cover tattoos. She doesn't do airbrush but quite honestly I didn't feel like I had a lot of makeup on for the wedding. But I would schedule a trial with anyone you're considering to see how you fell in the makeup and to see if they can cover your tattoos correctly.

Sephora! Go check with them and see what they can do. I talked with them a few months ago about tattoo covering and they said to come in and try it out. They can match you there with ANY and EVERY product there.

I have 3 tattoos myself and 2 in places that won't be hidden by my dress.  Although I love my ink, they really don't go with the princess ball gown look LOL.  So I'm covering them myself with a make-up called Tattoo Camo.  I've used this cover-up before because I'm in pageants.  It works wonderfully and can withstand high temps without smearing.  I get mine from my pageant coach but I believe you can order it online.
