Stupid TK doesn't post my stuff sometimes :(

I was saying that I love how she knew her FI (now H) would stand by her and how it wasn't even a question in his mind.

Reminds me of some friends of mine. They were in a really, really bad car accident last Februray. The H was left with TBI and basically had to re-learn everything and his short term memory is still gone. His wife only needed two stitches. But she has said that it wasn't even a question in her mind whether or not she was going to stick by her H. She knew that they were going to get through this together no matter what.

Wow what a beautiful example of love, despite the tragedy. Sometimes I ask DH, "will you still love me if [fill in the blank]"... blind, deaf, paralyzed, mentally handicapped, cenile... And he says, "of course; I love you and I love taking care of you." but just thinking about it, if it were him or me.... I can't imagine.

I remember reading about her! Poor thing! I'm glad she is so positive about her situation.

Wow, what an amazing story! Thanks for sharing this. What a positive girl. Good for her, and her H. I can't imagine what her friend must have felt. I hope she has forgiven herself and realized that it wasn't her fault.
