Can anyone recommend a bridal store that is in a decent price range? I'm aiming to not spend more than 1500.

    I absolutely recommend Harold's in New Haven.

    I'm not sure where you are but I recommend Bancroft Bridal in Agawam, MA.  It's just over the CT/MA border.  They have a lot of dresses under $1500 and they carry a bunch of different designers also.  Plus everyone there is super nice!

    Bridal Mall in Niantic.  they do sample sales a few times a year...i scored a great dress for $250!

    I second Harold's, that's where I got my dress. Most bridal salons in CT carry dresses that are $1500 or below. Here are some that I had great experience, Eva's in Stratford, Mariella's in Rocky Hill, Something Blue in Southbury and Bridal Trousseau in Branford.

    I got my BM dresses from Eva in Stratford, and I can't say enough nice things about her.  I didn't meet her until after I ordered my dress, or I would have gone to her.

    I got mine from Marie Antoinettes in Derby.  Lots of dresses in your price range.

    I third Julie Allens in Newtown.. It is were my dress and my girls dresses are from.  They are great at what they do!

    Ragtime Boutique in Watertown... I loved it!  They had great prices and sample sales...the owner is amazing and they were great to work with!  Got all my BM dresses there, the MOG dress, and my Aunt's dress!  haha

    Fairytales Formalwear and Bridal Boutique in Glastonbury is awesome(my dress was $800. Cris and Laura are both awesome, helpful and knowledgeable they really tried to get me what I want and reassured me that the dress will fit once altered.   I also looked at Marriella's Creations in Rocky Hill, great service and many dresses 800-1400 and above, they will only show you the orices you ask for. However a had a rude unpleasant experience at Maynards Bridal Corner, other people were there for fittings so I'm sure some people have a decent experience but it just wasn't the place for me.  Good luck!
