Happy Hump Day!

I am so looking forward to Friday! DH is having to work over 10 hours a day this week to make up for missing work last Monday due to the power outage. Friday will just be an 8 hour day so that will be nice. I hope everyone has a great day!

Yay hump day! We're going on a bike ride this evening if it stops raining, so that's getting me through the day. (Although, I will say that getting back on a bike for the first time in 13 years was humbling. I felt like a six-year-old.)

Hope everyone else has an awesome day!

    Heya!

Yesterday was a HUGE success! I rode the youngster horse for the first time in a longggg time and she didn't try to kill me! :o)

Today I'm trying to get the house ready for us to go out of town, so it's laundry and cleaning. Tomorrow we're leaving to go to my parents and spend time with them / go to my cousins wedding / MAYBE get a riding uniform for NCSU Equestrian Try-Outs :o) Waahooo

Morning! I started addressing envelopes last night, 25 down, 135 more to go. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, actually. And they look pretty nice. I still need to stamp return addresses on the back, but that shouldn't be too bad either. This is going to be a long long week at work, I'm trying not to let it stress me too much.

Bike riding sounds fun! I'm terrible on a bicycle. I bought one a couple years ago because FI really likes riding, and I thought it'd be something we could both do. Oh goodness, I can barely make it around the block, it was awful. I'll take my 2 wheeled transportation with an engine, thank you.

Stamping the return address is a good idea! Where did you get the stamp if you don't mind me asking? Do you put your name with it or just the address?

Etsy. I used seller SugarLetter (clicky) and I do recommend her. I'm using the stamp for the return address on the big envelope, and the address on the RSVP envelope. I bought ink-pads at Michaels.

I put my name, and our address. It turned into a 4 line stamp, since North Carolina is so long the zip is on a 4th line, it looks really nice. I thought about doing MyLastname HisLastname Wedding or something like that, but I'll probably use the stamp for other things too so I decided not to.

Happy Hump Day all!! I am counting down the days till the week-end.

Nothing to exciting gong on my way... except for another meeting with a caterer today! I think by the time this is over with, I will have talk to EVER caterer in the greater Charlotte area, and have meet with at least half of them! Maybe I am being to picky!? I mean how hard is it to convey a "tailgate meets martini chic casual evening wedding theme!! lol.

    Happy Wednesday everyone!

Nothing too exciting going on with me today... other than our pre-marital counseling which is always fun.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Jenni, I also used a return address stamp from etsy and it worked beautifully. I got ours from lettergirl: http://www.etsy.com/shop/lettergirl

She made a custom stamp for me because I liked bits and peices from a few of her stamps and I love them.

    Morning!

I was going to go for a bike ride today but the weather looks really iffy. Maybe I'll go anyway since I really want to go to the coffee shop and get some work done.

I ordered a stamp from Vistaprint. If you sign up for their e-mails they always send offers for free stuff. I just had to pay shipping & I was ordering a few other things anyway so it was negligible. I put DH to work stamping the backs of the envelopes :-)

This. It is true. I am terrible. But I love being able to get out of the house and go places and at the same time feel like I'm not being so lazy. I hate hate hate running, so this is at least better than that. :) FI says that after a couple weeks of doing small spurts of riding it shouldn't be as torturous (going up small hills makes my thighs want to quit my body) so I hope he's not lying.

I can't believe I am at 38 days to go. Holy crap!!!

I'm not stressed out (even though I have things I need to do). I just can't believe how soon until our wedding. I guess it helps to have a short engagement.

Ditto! We got engaged at the end of February and we're now knocking on 32 days until the wedding...I keep thinking its soo much further away!

So exhausted today had to be at FI's parent's house at 8 this morning, a solid hour away from us to head to Burlington for the funeral. Very sad day...thanks for the Knottie vibes yesterday...it was tough and FMIL got up and spoke and it was definitely hard. I don't know how she kept herself composed. FI's family had been best friends with him for about 30 years and spent most of their newlywed, children days together....but cancer can't hurt him anymore so that's a blessing.

Ordered programs yesterday from VistaPrint...received my BM dresses yesterday and they look great...should have my dress by the end of this week! Its all coming together!

Hope everyone had a good hump day!
