  Why was it called off in the first place? 

  Did you guys get couple's counseling to resolve the issue[s] that caused the split in the first place? 

  Hope everything was worked out... 

  Anyway, welcome and congratulations! 

  You have quite a bit of time, so I would just enjoy the engagement for now and worry about the guest list in a couple months. :P

  It was called off because his sister doesnt like me and shes extremely mainpulative and tricked him into saying he didnt want to be married. But we took some counseling along with his family and it all worked out. Well, worked out with his mom his sister is still being a...word im not gonna use on here... ;. But thanks, i am enjoying the engagment part lol just not the planning. And my best friend just got engaged too so now its real fun

  Honestly, your fiance was "tricked" into calling off an engagement? That does not sound like he has a strong sense of commitment. I have never heard of someone being tricked or talked out of an engagement for no good reason.
  
  Well, hopefully you really did work out all the kinks and he is really ready to make the commitment. Congratulations.

  How fun that you and your friend get to plan together! That's awesome because so many people just get sick of hearing about it all so it'll be great to have someone you two can vent to

  Oh, also.. I noticed your FI is in the Army? 

  THere is a military brides board under "special topics" and those ladies can be very helpful and welcoming.

We took those engagment pics right as he was getting out last yr. Thanks though, im sure if he was still in i would definitly be on that board :

Weve been friends our whole lives so its alot of fun getting to bounce ideas off eachother. Her fi actually proposed on mine and my fi anniversry then me three days later lol.
