Chariots for Hire- Terrible Service, No Customer Service

We had an awful experience with Chariots for Hire for our 9/18 wedding.

Essentially, after the paying the premium to use CFH because they "own their fleet"- a contracted motorcoach showed up to drive our guests to and from the days from events.  The contracted motorcoach (which was not nearly as nice as the pictures they direct you to online of the fleet they own) was never given an itinerary of the day, so the groom had to walk through/write down all of the drop off's and pick up.
Because CFH was MIA- the driver did not know to take our guests from the hotel to the reception- until a guest called.  We had 57 guests arrive at our wedding reception 50 minutes late-- 10 minutes before the cocktail hour ended!

When we called and wrote CFH to discuss the issue- we were told they read/heard our complaints and in their opinion the issue was closed!  No explanation, no compensation, no apology has been offered.

The reviews on Yelp and Yahoo were right--- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

    Wow!  So sorry you had to experience all that with your wedding transportation!  Thanks for letting the rest of us know.  We were actually considering booking through them.  Things might be changing now!

    It's funny bc all of their reviews were great--- but when I went on my "review rampage" this morning I noticed several other of the EXACT same compliants on Weddingwire, Yelp, and Yahoo.
    So maybe they've been over extending themselves and having to contract out shuttles/motorcoaches/etc.
    Regardless, save yourself the hassle and book with a company that owns and assures you that they will use their fleet!

    I am so glad that you posted this. I was thinking of using them. I did see some reviews that said to stay away. I guess they were right. Staying away for sure.

    Ladies- wanted to update you all--
    We put a full review of them on Yelp- only to have it "dispapear".
    Turns out a business can "hide" their negative reviews!  Wish I would have known that before we used them.

    They were on my short list too, thanks for posting!  I have heard good things about Fairfax Limo, but have no personal experience.

    We ran off to Vegas and got married!
