Has anyone used this place for wedding day hair and make up? I met them and took a tour of the place those past weekend at the wedding show. Everything seems really nice just wanted to hear some reviews. Thanks!

    Hi- we are having our wedding at the Sanderling in September and I have booked for hair and make up. We haven't met with them though, and won't be able to until the week of the wedding. I have a consultation then. I found their prices to be similar to other spas, and having the wedding in the Sanderling area, I didn't want to travel down to Nags Head or KDH for hair, and possibly get stuck in traffic, etc. I am not having a hair trial, since they charge the same amount for hair the day of. I am having my hair stylist at home do a trial, and I trust her in letting me know whether a style will work or not for me.

    I used the Sanderling for my hair. Prices were comparable to others and I wanted to stay in Duck, so I went with them. There also weren't a lot of options for a Sunday. I wouldn't say I was super impressed with the stylist. I went there the day before for a "consultation," which was a waste of time. She barely looked at my pictures and didn't do anything with my hair. She basically did what she wanted the day of. It turned out OK, not exactly as I had envisioned.
