has anyone ever heard of this place?  My WC gave me a menu for our wedding cake.  However I wasn't able to find any reviews.

    Yep...that's who my WC recommended and after seeing Tanq's cake i'm glad we chose them...haven't tasted their cakes as yet so i cannot give my personal opinion but they came highly recommended...we are doing a variety of cupcakes with a small cake. HTH! J. :-)

    Yup. Thats the name i believe. Cake bakery. Maui2011 - what flavors are you going with? I didnt see cupcakes on my list, im gonna have to ask my WC about that

    Sorry for the late reply...just in Toronto for my cousins wedding tomorrow...well later this afternoon...lol...and have been really busy this week finalizing my details so i logged on for a quick sec this morning and saw your post.  Their menu is a cake menu but they base their cupcakes on it...just no filling.  I am ordering about 2 cupcakes/person so our guests can have a variety...it would be kind of cool to have mini cupcakes as well so they could taste all of the flavours...just a thought. This is what i am ordering:

    DOUBLE CHOCOLATE:
    Devils foodcake with a dark chocolate buttercream frosting

    RED VELVET:
    Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting

    CARROT:
    Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting

    MASCARPONE:
    Vanilla cake with a blended chocolate, mascarpone and espresso frosting

    PINEAPPLE...was charged an additional $20 as it is not a regular item:
    Pineapple cake with pineapple buttercream frosting

    WEDDING CAKE:
    RED VELET CAKE WITH BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

    Thanks...TO was hot hot hot!

    Glad to help...just reading a post made me rethink one of my choices...i think i may sub the carrot cupcake for a lilikoi cupcake...lilikoi is suppose to be their best selling flavour so they should be able to make it really well.  I chose carrot as this is one of FI's faves but we will be in Hawaii so i think we should try something different. HTH! J. :-)
