Macau Anyone?

Just starting to think of interesting places to honeymoon. Highly considering Asia. Macau looks interesting, has anybody been and would like to share info?  Also thinking of Thailand and Indonesia or Malaysia as well. Any info on any of these places would be good.

    When I studied abroad in Hong Kong, I did a day trip to Macau. Because it's so small, most of the people I talked to never spent more than a weekend there. Not sure how long you plan to stay there...
    Consider Hong Kong :) The food is great, hotels are nice, lots of shopping options, and you can get anywhere through public transportation. Macau is only a ferry ride away, and you can use HK dollars in Macau!

    I travelled to Malaysia for a week last May. It was so hot and so humid. Over 90 degrees everyday. If you can't eat spicy food, I would maybe reconsider going here. Everything is spicy. Even when you asked for things to be not spicy, it'll still be spicy. HTH!

    We loved Thailand - spent two weeks in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Krabi, and a long layover in Hong Kong on the way back.  Most definitely our favorite place we've ever traveled.  Affordable, great food, great people, so much to do and explore, amazingly gorgeous beaches.
