  I think a lot of the ladies have used beach bum vacations as their planners for DWs? 

  I was briefly looking at Puerto Rico and there are a few things you have to get taken care of the be legally married there.

  
  

  I think bridechan is doing puerto rico so she might be more help! I know it has been discussed before so if you need ideas you could just search for puerto rico on this board and see all the ladies that gave input.

  Welcome and congrats! Do you plan on getting married at a resort because usually if you do your wedding package comes with the planner there at the resort! Travel agent wise everyone has their own opinions. I have heard great things about Beach bums although I am not using them and using my own TA. Happy planning

  Wino - I'm pretty new with the knot site, I'm not sure if I landed the right place. I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later regarding the search site
  
  Meg - I don't rule out resort, the less I need to do the better. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the resort and would like to do it within the budget.

  I just got back from my honeymoon- a week of which was spent in Puerto Rico.  We briefly considered being married there in the beginning of our engagement, but decided to marry closer to home.  Therefore, I don't know much about getting married there BUT we did explore a good bit of the island and I feel I learned a lot and took a TON of photos.  It's a beautiful island!!
