Creative Ideas to ask my Bridesmaids

I just got engaged and am looking for a cute creative way to ask my friends and sister/future sister in-laws to be my bridesmaids. I don't want to just ask them I think it would be fun to get creative with it ! Any suggestions ?

Pick who you want to be your party attendants, and then get shirts made for them.  One by one individually give them the shirt, and when they get it go....would you like to be my ____?

Most people do cute cards. The best thing I can think of is food like a cookie that is a BM dress or a heart that asks. But really I would save your cash-ola and just call them or visit them and ask. They will be just as excited with whatever cute way you do vs just seeing them in person/calling.

I agree with PP...save your money.  I know that it is cute and all to give them something but it really isn't necessary.  I think a nice  phone call or stopping by their house would be just as nice and mean just as much.

To ask my bridesmaids I invited them all out to dinner at a local Chinese Food Restaurant.  I had fortune cookies made online that the fortune read "The day the dress the bride the groom, the joy the tears will all come soon.  Just one more thing there needs to be and that is you standing next to me.  WIll you be my bridesmaid?"  Then at dinner I gave them the fortune cookie.  They were really inexpensive.    All the girls really enjoyed them and they definitely did not break the bank!

<div>While this is cute, I would advise not asking them in a group because that puts pressure for everyone to accept when they may not wish to. Ask individually. In person is best.</div>
