Meal Planning

Has anyone done their meal planning for this week?

So far I have:
Slow cooker pulled pork with homemade fries
Baked chicken parm with pasta
Pasta with shrimp and asparagus

I'm looking for new healthy recipes if you have any suggestions!

Re: Meal Planning

  • I will be making:
Spinach Lasagna roll ups (but I am adding meat)

I would basically like all of these immediately. They sound good and I am starving right now. Lay off me I'm starving!!!
  • Tonight is a orange glazed salmon with white rice ans sauteed zucchini.

For the rest of the week-
    Soy chorizo hash
sausage, potato and summer vegetable skillet
And hopefully enough leftovers from these three meals to cover the rest of the week.

  • We are "trying" to eat healthier

    We are having:

turkey tenderloin on the girl with salad
    salad with leftover turkey
    grilled swordfish with grilled vegetables
steak and potatoes (cause my kids are home from college and they will insist this be one of the meals)
  • Rach- you'll love them!

I added chili and steak sandwiches to mine.  Breakfast for dinner sounds good, too.  That will definitely be a back up.

Is this a skinnytaste recipe?  I made something just like this last night and it was fantastic!

I think it might be.  I originally found it on pinterest and I can't remember for sure which website it links to.  It sounded good so I'm making it for date night!  It's the only night I will cook actual meat for H :).

  • We are going on a trip this weekend starting Friday morning so I didn't plan too much.

I'm making chicken enchiladas tonight which should last tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday nights.  I just threw some chicken breasts in the crock pot with some enchilada seasoning and most of a jar of salsa, I'll shred it when I get home and stuff the enchilidas full of that.

Thursday night will either be Buitoni pasta or some angel hair pasta with some marinara/turkey meatballs that were some leftovers from last week.  I threw it in the freezer for a rainy day.

  • I'm waiting for the dog to be done at the vet, which pushes back my cooking schedule, but it should be:

    Kielbasa/sauerkraut with baked potatoes
    Homemade crunchwrap supremes
    The crackburger recipe from pinterest
    Leftovers
    Party night, just apps
Buffalo chicken tenders if we stay home
  • I have 22 weeks worth of grocery lists that have 5 recipes attached. Each week is a list and 5 different meals. The grocery lists are color coded by recipe and are organized on the list by section of the grocery store.

I'd be happy to send it to you in an e-mail (it's a word document).

If you want it, just PM me your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

I have mine 3 hole punched in a binder and that way I can take things out when I want to use them. It's pretty awesome.
