I was so disgusted when I read this article this morning!  Some poeple have no idea what our soldiers and their families go through to protect this country.  Those who had the nerve to boo one of our soldiers for asking a legitimate question should feel ashamed of themselves.  Being gay does not make someone less of a soldier.

I really wish that people could open their eyes to what is really going on. It's like everyone's brain has been shut off and noone bothers to ask, "Why?". I don't see how it's possible to allow people who have absolutely no regard for each other, but are heterosexual to have the privilege of being married and those who truly love each other, but are homosexual to not be recognized as a legitimate couple with the same rights as any other married couple. :/

If they are willing to fight for our country, regardless of their sexual orientation...then they should be allowed to marry and the rights that that encompasses, regardless of their sexual orientation.
