  I agree-- something more noticable might be good. The pearls seem like they are getting lost in the photo and with the fun feel of the dress you can get away with louder accessories.

  I just found out that my favorite antiques fair is next weekend - so I've been browsing ebay and etsy for a vintage or vintage look multi-strand pearl necklace with a chunky clasp that I might want to wear to the side...I think that's my necklace answer - but I'm holding out for something at Brimfield that I can try on...we'll see.  Thanks for the input!

  The pieces work. The hair style doesn't.  The slicked back hair does not match the fun feeling of the dress    Is that the planned hair style?  I think a softer hair style would work better with the dress.   The shoes, crinoline and ribbon rock.

  That's just my hair in a bun so it's out of the way for the fitting - and no make-up and very little sleep.

  Pretty dress! Love the style and the pop of red in your crinoline! If you want something really unique and vintage, try Zillas Queen on Etsy.   Get a RED necklace to pick up on the red in your dress and shoes. The white pearls disappear into your skin and don't stand out at all. That dress NEEDS standout jewelry.
