Favorite meal to cook

Ok, ladies. I have Friday afternoon boredom!

What's your favorite meal to cook for FI?

Mine isn't my fave to eat but it's my fave to make for FI because he loves it so much.

It's really quite putsy so I only make it on special occassions. I think it's called Bacon Chicken or something...basically it's chicken breasts topped with bacon, onions, and garlic with shredded cheese melted over the top. HELLO CALORIES!!

My fave to eat would be a really good salad...or FI's shrimp & pasta. No clue how he makes it though!

Now I'm bored AND hungry! Ugh!!

FI's absolute favorite meal (besides pizza) is Thanksgiving Dinner.

So, my favorite thing to cook for him is a mini-version of that. I'll make a turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. It's a bit more work than most meals but, he definitely appreciates it big time. So, it's worth while! :)

FI is a health nut so usually we're eating chicken breast or steak with veggies.  Something along those lines.  But I love cooking my jamaican jerk salmon for him cause it's one of his faves.  I don't have a recipe, though.  I just kind of throw a bunch of things together till I think it tastes right.  He also loves chicken and grapes.  Soooo yummy.  This one is a Rachel Ray recipe.

My FI loves anything I cook for the  most part. His favorites are chicken enchiladas with a verde sauce instead of red sauce. He also LOVES my taco chili-basiclaly the same as chili but I add some taco seasoning, ranch powder, black beans instead of kidneys, corn, fresh jalapenos, etc.

My DH probably lived on Mac N Cheese and frozen pizza before I entered the picture and I can honestly say that he LOVES my cooking (which is good because I'm kinda a closet foodie!) and thus appreciates it all.  I guess the one that makes him light up the most is my homemade deep dish pizza but his fave "comfort" food is this poppyseed chicken thing that one of my dad's staff members makes and it is ah-mazing.  Horrible for you but so good.

I found a new recipe that a friend shared with me. It is Enchiladas with corn, black beans and cheese. I made it the other day for my FI and not only was it super easy, it tasted deliscious! We both loved it. It also made for great leftovers! Yumm!

FI loves when I make pot roast and mashed potatoes with gravy, he says it's the best gravy he's ever had which is quite the compliment as he loves him some gravy:) Btw, ugh this post is torture when trying to fit into a dress as I so want all of it!!

We love doing Asian night together. I really prefer cooking if it is both of us doing it. We get all kinds of sauces, veggies, and fish, make sushi rice, and make cold spring roll type things. I also like making traditional French onion soup, but it takes forever!

we love to team-cook. Tonight, I made a swiss chard quiche while he made zucchini fritters. I think our favorite team-meals are chili, squash soup, homemade pizza, and risotto.
