Hey, are there any May/June/July 2012 brides here in Richmond?  My date is June 29, 2012.  I'm just curious about your planning so far- venues, vendors, the stress, do's and don'ts around Richmond,  Wink
I plan on doing a little more planning this summer.

    @ cfaszews25:  Thanks!  I want to take my e-pics outdoors and am considering taking pics at the canal walk.  Do you know of any other great places downtown with nice scenery?

    We haven't *officially* set a date, but we are aiming for June or July 2012!

    We're shooting for June 2012 also and that's what brought me to this board.  I'm struggling with our guest list vs my choice in venues.  We fell in love with the garden in the Edgar Allan Poe museum but, max is 125 - same with the Amuse Restaurant (VA Museum of Fine Arts) for our reception.  Our list is around 140-150.  Do we take the chance that our venues will burst at the seams or just not be able to accommodate? 
    We've looked at Main Street station, Rockets Landing, Valentine Museum and Lewis Ginter Bot Garden but, nothing grabbed us like Poe & VMFA.
    I would love to hear other unique suggestions that would allow all the people we want there to be able to come, enjoy, drink and DANCE (outside?)!
    Someone please tell me that Belle Isle can host a wedding - that would be fun!
