wedding bands

Does anyone have great suggestions for a band for a reception? I'm looking for a band that is more cover band type then one of those orchestra types...also hoping they will be reasonably priced...Please let me know if you do!

    We are using Spoken Four, which is more of a cover band and is part of the Maggie Speaks group. I don't really know what reasonable is, but we found a band to be much more than a DJ. Maybe 3 or 4 times the price??

    we are using   Who knew entertainment.  They have been super workable and willing to learn what ever songs we want. Plus the price was much cheaper then others that people have mentioned on here

    I suggest calling Mike Glick.  He is a consultant, and although takes a small percentage, sent us CD's of bands from $1,500-$5,000 (within our price range).  He also gets a lot of information from you up front, to know what types of bands to send CD's of.  He is very non-obtrusive, has been doing this for about 15 years, and is very familiar wth most of the bands in the Chicagoland area.  I don't know what I would have done without his help.  We ended up going with Paul Windsor Orchestra, a bit in our higher price range, but we had a lot to chose from, maybe 20 bands or so.

    My cousin got married last year and used David Rothstein Orchestra, they were amazing and we had a great time dancing all night. He also gave her a beautiful framed photograph as a gift!

    I am using the cover band Conexion. Been to a few events where they played and they were really good!
