Bout AND Pocket Square?

I heard today you are suppose to do EITHER the bout OR the pocket square for the tuxes? Anyone know something about this? The thought never even crossed my mind til at the tux place today.

I don't want to book with the florist all the bout's if this is the case.

    yes thats what i have heard too.  when we went to the tux place my FI spotted the pocket squares and really liked it.  I asked the owner about it cuz i'm like thats weird with the flower, he said nope its one or the other.  So no flower it is,  Now i get to tell the florist to knock 6 bouts off the bill :)

    nice!!!!!! Fi and I like the pocketsqare also so I get to knock off 14 bouts from the florist bill!! yay!!! LOL

    After you asked that I was like I never heard of that, so I decided to ask my FI what he wanted to do.  He had never heard of this either.  He said that out of the few weddings he had been in he had both.  So I went through some pictures on theknot galleries and I found some grooms that did both and some that choose one.  I think it is a matter of preference (I really do not think anyone is going to do a big GASP because you have both on the gentlemen).  

    I would agree to only do one if your bout. are on the large side because they are so dramatic.  However we are doing one simple flower.  My FI says that if the day comes and it is too much then he will take out the pocket square (It is "free" anyways). If your guy doesn't want a bout than this is the perfect solution.

    I never heard that either.  At ours the guys had both.  Here's how it looked.
