My fiance and I flew into MSP for a few days over the holidays and scheduled tours at multiple venues to check out for our 200+ person wedding reception. The Radisson in Roseville wasted our time. We arrived at the hotel and no one seemed to know we were coming. The staff member we were supposed to meet with (Gretchen) was on vacation and the Catering Manager (Diane?) was rude and disrespectful. While we were waiting to speak to someone the front desk staff could be overhead speaking negatively about guests and the "normally terrible food." When the manager appeared on the scene she spent five minutes speaking to one of her colleagues and then offered no appologies or explanations when she told us that we could not see the ballroom and had no record of my appointment. A simple phone call would have remedied the situation if they had just called us once it became apparent that we would not be allowed to tour the venue, instead they wasted our time and were definitely crossed off our list.
Too bad for them and so incredibly unprofessional!
Like my fiance reminded me - at least we found out now and not later on if we had moved forward with the Radisson in Roseville.
