Outdoor reception ideas

Hello Ladies,

It's me asking for help, again. We are having an outdoor reception(in the gardens) and I am looking for ideas. I have googled a ton and the ones I like are indoor. I am not sure how they'd fit in a huge garden. I am also inclined towards the Moroccan theme. The only problem is we have a huge guest list and the moroccan style seating may not be practical. What do you guys think? Any ideas/pictures? How about the stage decor? Wat are my options? HELP!
TIA.

Bells.. Its absolutely stunning.. You've done a brilliant job. I am so sure your clients are going to be thrilled to have you plan their wedding. My best wishes.
I may not be able to take up your offer though since the wedding is in India.
    I LOVED the cake..so pretty.
I like the idea of seatiing youngsters on the lower seats. Having said that, our guest list is 800+(I KNOW! since its in India, we HAVE TO include all our relatives). Will it be too expensive to have the moroccan theme then? I mean we are going to need to have so many decor pieces for each table to go with the theme. Do you have any inexpensive alternatives in mind?
Id love to see more pictures of your decor.. its amazing!

I put some pictures up in this thread, here's the link

I'm googling though, specifically for stages and decor... I do like the idea of uplighting on the side walls, which can alternate in colors :)  A lighting company in your area can help with that.  The Color Pink brings out the best in everyone, and tries really hard to make everyone photogenic :)

Adding and focusing on elements around the tables might be a better way to go.  i know at a wedding I went to, they rented a few unusual seating areas for family and guests to take pictures on.  It could be completely staged, and be propped up with pillows =)

Centerpieces is another route to go, if it's different at every few tables, it makes the eyes gravitate around the room, instead of seeing the same thing all over.

Chair back ties, and table cloths are interesting to use to your advantage.  Since there's going to be a lot of people, it's hard to give everyone pillows.

Link 1 - This place I mentioned on the other thread (link above), their gallery is a great way to get ideas.

Link 2 - This is for Raj Tents, looking mainly at the stages under the Mandaps, they have different colored fabric.  If there is a Mandap Decorator in your area, ask about using different colors in different stage areas.

Link 3 - Another gallery for ideas

Link 4 - Check out the rugs and tent areas on this one!

Link 5 - I love the outdoorsy feel on this one.. This would be perfect for a mehendi party, with little wooden tables, and a lot of pillows =)

Or even subtle hints of having tables that are square instead of the traditional round - (not with these chairs though)

Link 6 - Someone's Engagement Party - just look at the decor!

Link 7 - I like this one, because of the color uplights on the sheer organza walls!

Link 8 - I love the short tables, and it looks like ethnic tablecloths, or even sari material!

    Hope that helps!

@Trupti - Google doesn't really work for me, but I use it... I try lots of things like
    - Moroccan wedding
    - Moroccan "Indian" wedding
    - Lanterns
    - Outdoor Indian wedding
    - Mandaps <-- that's always a fun one in Google Images
    - Moroccan Wedding Vendors

I also look at Indian Wedding Photography websites, because all of these ideas are there, and they don't move out to google.  Which doesn't help anyone, right??

If you need specific ideas too, please post them, because then I can be happy to google for you =) And Anyone for that matter when it comes to Indianese weddings :)
