Hey Ladies,
I went for my 2nd fitting yesterday and my dress fit much better than it did when I 1st got it. She still needs some minor tweaks here and there but for the most part I am very happy w/ the work my seamstress did and how she turned out.

full shot w/ a hoop skirt... not sure if I am going to wear the skirt w/ the hoops in it b/c it makes the dress pull kind of funny in the front... so my mom and I removed the hoops when we got back last night and I will try it on as a crinoline instead of a hoop skirt at my final fitting.
this is the back bustled w/o the hoop skirt... she still has to work on it a bit as some of the ribbons weren't doing what she wanted them to do but I get the general idea.
My seamstress still needs to (1) take it in a little at the waist and hips, (2)she is going to make the neckline more of a modified sweetheart than a scoop ( there is boning right down the center of my chest and when i turn to the side you can see a huge gap so she is going to weigh it down a little and make it sit more flush to my chest) (3) she is going to attach the brooch that is on the stomach area of the dress and raise it a little higher (it was just pinned on in the pic) (4) She still needs to work on the skirt a bit, the pickup's are a bit more lackluster than I want, but I don't know if there is anything she can do about it b/c I think that is an issue with the actual construction of the dress, but she did say she needed to fix something w/ the side seams around the top.
Like I said overall I am very happy with the work she did and I am sure I will be happy w/ the next/final round of alterations. I am supposed to pick her up on 11/9 so i will post pictures of the final product then =-)
