Alterations Question

How many fittings did you have? I live in Atlanta my wedding is in South Fl, I would prefer to have my dress altered down there. I know a lot of ppl reccommend Reina.

I may be moving back to Fl in the next 2 months or sooner depending on work so i'm trying to decide if I should wait and bring my dress down in April when I come and if that is enough time. If I don't move before the wedding I would only be down twice before the wedding day.

I'm worried that if I start alts up here and have to move and take my dress there to get finished the dress may get messed up in the process. 

Any suggestions?

    i think it depends on how much work you need done. but i think 3 is normal...i know that you are supposed to have your first fitting about 6 weeks before the wedding. and sometimes the last try on and pick up can be the week of the wedding. hope that helps!

    I'd say 2-3 depending on the work needed!

    With the first dress I bought I had 4 fittings because the seamstresses at Patricia South's do not speak ONE SINGLE WORD of English.  I took my 2nd dress to Reina and she got it on the first try!
